3 reasons why Tsb shouldn’t be on strategy game category
1) Ability 1/2/3/4 that only use for combo couldn’t count as strategy because combo you learned only need a little strategy to fight people which couldn’t count as strategy
Also only one character that simply doesn’t use strategy to fight is Sonic ( the hated character for spamming abilities)
2) Ultimate only use for win win situations which also couldn’t count as strategy because example : Saitama death count that need to make other attacks the player and kill that other player instantly, Wild physics ultimate garb nearby other players, deal damage overtime and created a shockwave to all grabbed other players also ultimate ability’s are grabbed player and stomped that player to the ground which deal a lot of damage and also another ability that target the player and deal damage to that player >75% of player health and make a shockwave that knock back all nearby player and that deal a small damage
3) Use digital item/code for voting is unfair to other well rated or underrated game example : hellmet, Deepwoken and Tower defense simulator
This third reason is used on a lot of games in each game category
1. Tsb used KJ to make the kids that want to play KJ vote for them ( result 1.7 million )
2. Bloxfruit used a reworked Dragon fruit and next update leak to make other people to vote for them
3. Dress to impress used in game code to make other people vote for them
( you can called me yapping but I am alright with that )

I think it’s fair for games to have a cosmetic reward cus it doesn’t effect gameplay at all (emotes, skins, etc) but kj and Boros do in fact change the gameplay

This could be just me, but I have a slight feeling that this event is botted. Every time, there is always a specific game that has around a million votes while the others are still stuck at the 100k-200k but idk, that’s just what I think

It makes a bit of sense, the (recent) peak players for tsb was 500K ish, the (recent) peak for tds was around 40K
The only thing crazier is the fact that TSB won despite not actually being a strategy game to begin with.

As someone who is very into the tower defence community, I felt like I was slapped in the face with games like these. TSB& DT lack the aspect of strategy. Even though they have strategy, it doesn’t completely revolve around it. Dusty Trip is a big factor in this imo because I just see it as a driving game and should’ve been in the category with all the driving sim games.
I haven’t played Anime Defenders but from what I’ve seen it shouldn’t be in the category, so I have no opinion on it. But with TSB even though it can have an aspect of strategy, it does not evolve around it and is not a defining part of the game. I literally just spammed abilities in TSB, no strat whatsoever.
On the other hand, TDS along with other popular TD games heavily require a strategic mindset with the towers you use and at what aspect they mostly shine in like having a huge horde of enemies that can be more easily handled with AOE towers. Not to mention the fact that in most TD Discords I’ve joined, they literally have a text channel dedicated to someone or a team of people who have made strategy documents to make it less difficult for people to play the game.
I can just go on and on about what makes TDS and if not the majority of TD games that have the main implementation of strategy, but this ain’t no essay, it’s a rant.
Edit: I would also like to mention the absolute disgust that is the TSB devs bribery. Like saying something such that they would be working on a character “faster” is just wth man like you can just take your dam time on it, a community of people can be patient if you don’t pressure yourself on a deadline and not false promises. It’s just terrible man.

Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with rewarding players in-game items if the game win any categories. HOWEVER, those items should purely be stuffs that do not affect the gameplays (skins, cosmetics, statues,etc). In tsb’s case, they literally promised giving access to an admin character and working faster on the game (or a character that the community wants or sth idk).

Actually anime defenders is a tower defense game like tds, however. There is a lot of problems with this game.
Sure it is td game, but u don't need strategies to beat every gamemod, u just need to obtain better tower an then you win, but tds units are the same, you gotta understand the early mid and late game by using the current units u have and u can't use the strongest current unit u have because it's expensive of course and obviously you'll lose in early game

The reason is : TSB is not focused on strategy it is focused on FIGHTING.
Meanwhile TDS is focus on strategy only.
Sure TSB has combos, and you would need a tad of strat and skill to defeat a certain character but that's not what the game is all about, it's mostly skill if anything.
It says best strategy, not best combat strategy.
Also your "Riddle me this" can be used for every game in the catagories, It's like people saying "why didn't you donate to charity instead of doing ____" it can be used for any type of situation, you could be eating food, you could be buying groceries, you could do anything that involves with money and anyone could say that same phrase;

The point is not every fighting game can be a strategy game but every strategy game can be a fighting game

As a TSB player and fan, I agree with you, not exactly tho and here are the reasons
1. TSB as a strategy game and winning
TSB is a very good game imo, ik I'm glazing but yall gotta try it deserves every bloxy it can get, except for the ones that TSB doesn't qualify for. Yes I am happy for the developers and other fans for winning but TDS deserved it since it is a strategy game, I wouldn't even be mad if they won because they qualify for it. The game is about killing enemies with towers (correct me if I'm wrong I don't play the game) and you have to place them in a specific spot for the best outcome of killing them which that is called strategizing. People might say that TSB is a strategy game which, it kinda is (making combos which has the best damage output) but it doesn't have that much strategizing like TDS, I have never played anime defenders so I can't say anything on that and dusty trip is maybe one (not sure)
2. The "Scummy Behaviour of Developers Briving"
TSB and other games are trying to win which is understandable but promising free stuff for votes isn't really that fair. I personally think that if they would put a portal in the game indicating that the Innovation Awards is here, then that would be reasonable. If they want to thank their community then promise the stuff after the Reward Ceremony.
3. "The Rewards"
KJ is a admin or exclusive aura rewarded to players who are at the top of the donation leaderboard for months donations or all time. Its a very popular character in the community and everyone wants to get it. But like I said in the other statement at 2. They should have promised it to us when voting is over OR at RDC when they are announcing it live.
3.5 The Working faster
The Dominator of the Universe(Boros) was promise to us for a very long time but we were going to get it at a later time. We were planned 2 more characters which were ZombieMan and Robotic Child and then we would get Boros. What they mean by "work faster" is to push out boros before the other characters that were planned already.
Summary: TSB doesn't deserve the Bloxy or Reward more than TDS but some of the hate is unnecessary

TSB winning best strategy is a second hand embarrassment towards players who actually played strategy games (RTS,turn based,tower defense)
Oh by the way apparently the reason why they did this is because the developer didn't realize that these are prediction votings like a prediction on who's going to win the innovations awards. And he wants his players to still have the bigger Asian to vote more instead of just dying down.
Also you should really look at how I'm pretty sure one of the developers tried to defend the fighting game in Howard's a strategy game. But I just want to say thank you recovering this crap cuz that's TDS fans are pretty mad

Im an guy who likes playing the strongest battlegrounds, as much as i want kj, bribing is NOT the way to go, + tsb would probably stll win without the bribing because, you know, its the biggest game of all three of the games.

They did not change the reward for wining, they removed the text and kept the Kj Emoji, they also said below that they removed the KJ text to make the message shorter, and that KJ will still be coming to the game.

Nothing else I could find to disagree, Devs literally bribe their players for the votes more just to win in the awards, where drama started first at the best shooter, clash between Arsenal and G&B, Arsenal is overrated because it’s only a cheap version of csgo + random fps games applied while G&B. Yes ofc I know some will be mad but It should be placed on horror because the genre indicated as horror, though it has weapons on it such as musket and sabers but yes sure giving another chance in the end of the voting days between the two most popular games.
Another drama went by between CAC and DTI, one fact that there’s a post stating “girl games should win” while bursting its anger towards Kreek and muneeb is where true hate strikes in. CAC for me is where people creates their dream avatars before buying it which it’s fun (except online daters), DTI itself is a copy version of Barbie like game.
