    Thanks so much Kenny, as a long time musician I decided I’d like to learn how to record myself at home during lockdown, your vids have been invaluable and I’m so grateful you do these. Thanks from Ireland ☘️ 🇮🇪

    It’s no coincidence that Reaper’s features often closely mirror years of unanswered, pleading requests from Pro Tools users.

    Excellent as always. I do have a question, the colors of the tracks in my DAW are too bright, I changed them ln the theme adjusted "dim all the colors". But every time i create a new session the color tracks are bright again, please someone can help me how to save that as default for all my new projects? Thanks in advance.

    Greetings! I’ve been watching your channel for a long time, I recently started video editing based on your lessons. Everything is good, but a thorough lesson on video rendering is really missing. It’s not difficult to make a simple video. But if this is the production of video advertising, there should be better quality. Please make a lesson on professional video rendering. I switched to REAPER from Adobe Premiere, I really don't want to be disappointed. Thank you in advance!

    Why do my track sound sloppy or slow , particularly on the drums, when rendered? It sounds like someone playing the drums but is kinda hesitating to hit the drums. .... but in playback, i dont hear the issue. Please help

    do you know if there's a setting that turns off fade in's for rendering in Reaper?
    I've went through everything and I can't find a way for it to stop doing it

    Hi, thank you for the video! I learnt how to use Reaper by watching your videos! But I've got a problem now, please help me, why does my mixdown sound different with the playback in Reaper? After I render my project, everything sounds quieter and lower, like it's being compressed... I want to have a mixdown which sounds as same as when I play it in Reaper... Is that because I don't use an external sound card/audio interface while rendering it? I use ASIO4all in Reaper and my laptop just uses its default soundcard which is Realtek. I don't have any problems in recording since my microphone condenser uses usb to connect to my laptop, so I don't need an audio interface for my mic and the recording sounds fine and loud. But do I still need an external soundcard/audio interface just for mixing and mastering? I've also tried to import my mixdown back to the Reaper to see if it sounds quieter but it's not, it sounds fine as same as the playback in Reaper before, but whenever I played it outside the Reaper, for example by using VLC, the quality of the sound decreases and sounds quieter and crappy. Please someone help me... It's so frustrating... 😞

      I'm having this issue as well and don't really know what the answer is. Were you able to sort it out since your comment was originally posted?

    • @canman87
      @canman87 Před rokem

      LMAO, and then of course right after I left that comment I think I got it sorted out. I had been rendering as a WAV file, which in my case completely obliterated the quality (confusing, I know). I switched it to render as an MP3 and it sounds just fine 🤷‍♂
