Somewhere I Belong - Gabor - 1969 -

Bemused by the baby blackbird bloom,
I watched it grow and take flight,
Its wings so strong and feathers so soft,
It was a beautiful sight.
The world was new and full of wonder,
As the blackbird took to the sky,
Its song so sweet and full of life,
It made me want to fly.
The sun shone down upon us,
As we danced in the morning light,
The blackbird and I together,
A beautiful sight.
And as I watched it soar away,
I knew that I would see it again,
For the baby blackbird bloom had grown,
Into a bird that would never end.
