While I know about that elongated herringbone technique, I prefer yours! This is the simple, elegant and quick design I was looking for; thank you so much for these awesome tutorials!
Thanks Joan. I have seen this look before although I'm not sure if there is an official technique to it. Have fun if you make some!
Love how you make it so easy to follow. I'm making these as Christmas gifts. Thank you
Thanks Mary. Have fun with the earrings. I'm sure the gifts will be much appreciated.
Thank you once again for sharing your abundant talent. I think I liked the first one the best, because of the lower drop.
I have a question! Have you ever made ear cuffs of any sorts? I’ve always loved your tutorials and have been very cottagecore inspired. Thank you! 🍀
Thanks so much. I have 3 videos with ear cuffs here: www.youtube.com/@HeatherBoydWire/search?query=ear%20cuff
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL ❣️....
I have to make those.... They are so beautiful 💕
😍😍😍
Heather, I am so very confused about all of the strengths of wire. Hard, half hard, dead soft etc. Anything you can do to help me figure out what's what and when to use each type?
Some wire are indicated and some are not. The Artistic wire is more on the soft side, but not dead soft. I use harder wire for ring bands and simple shapes. The softer wire is easy easier to bend and better for more detailed pieces with a lot of bending/twisting/weaving and wrapping. Half hard wire is harder to bend. You can use it when you want a stiffer wire that holds it's shape better.
0:38 I love your videos but I was wondering if you have any videos that are slower for brand new jewelry makers?
Thank you. You can change the playback speed of any of my videos if you click the settings wheel. Good luck.
Where did you buy this wire and pliers? please answer
Here is a PDF with my favourite wire and tools. I buy many of my supplies on Amazon or Etsy: drive.google.com/file/d/1eh8KeInrPFPvJQ4WpiGazRpo1n31y0dM/view?usp=sharing
Can I ask how much do you sell wire wrapped bracelet/necklace and earrings for please im stuck on what to charge thanks
Hi Zoe: It really depends on your materials, where you are selling, your clientele and your display/presentation. You can look on Etsy or in shops for similar items to have an idea for pricing. Simple earrings like this can be anywhere between $10-20 or even more or less depending if you use copper or sterling wire and if you use semi precious beads. My friend Dave has a Facebook group where you can ask questions about selling: facebook.com/groups/474991183209356 Good luck.
Hello
@@HeatherBoydWire 😹😹😹I came on the live but I missed it. A couple minutes late! 😿I love these earrings. 💝🥰
I appreciate the time and effort for the tutorial but maybe it's just me but I feel like I am a 3-year-old being taught to tie my shoe. I can't do the cringey long drawn out words of explanation.
I'm not sure what you are trying to express. You can change the playback speed in settings if you want to watch the video in fast motion.
Thank you for showing me how to make earrings properly ❤😅🎉🥰💗🇺🇲☕☕👍👋
You are very welcome!
