Stephen, when that funnel touches down, if it does a beeline at you, how much time would you have to get safe?

I do not play it too close. At this link is a tornado coming straight at me but it was very slow; www.tempestgallery.com/tornadoes/bennington-tornado

Wow, what an amazing shot that was. I really want to try this, but I'm not sure if I'm up to THAT. I'd have to fill my vehicle with foam or something, so that I could literally throw my gear in and head the hell out of dodge. LOL

Unreal. How can something so scary be so damn beautiful as well? We don't get a lot of twister touchdowns in Pa., but we have had a few in recent years. Not sure if they'd be chaseable though, as they've always hit without warning. Also, not a lot of wide open plains type landscape. The best I can really hope for, for my first storm timelapse, would be a mega electrical storm with one of our mountains in the background, and maybe a river in the foreground. Your stuff is so inspiring. Definitely something I'd like to branch out into.
