I got 61 average fps in WOKONG , same settings with a 5700X3D and a overclocked RX6600. Was fun to compare what my pc can do atm. Loved the race. Hope you do more crazy stuff like this in the future. Highest time spy with it is 8988.

Just updated my oldest sons computer. Was an i7 4790 now its a ryzen 5500. With a 2080. 32 gigs ddr4. Atx , 2t nvme . argb everything including a cheap tower cooler. All together we have around 600$ into it.
The Omen was heating 🔥 up

There are front panel extension cables you can get for like $10 to solve the front panel issue in the HP Omen case.

Yes obviously, 4060 is not that high end of a graphics card, the i5 12600f can handle it easy. Go for it
HP sells the Omen cases in the Omen store. People probably bulk buy old models at a discount and flip them for a slight profit.
Damn $229 for a 6700, I bought a open box 7700 from microcenter for $222. Ebay prices are kinda redic. Also, B460 motherboard for $80! jesus I got a new b550m for $70 on newegg. Ebay sellers be trippin.

them omen motherboards have the power switch pins on the top right and hdaudio on the top left which is why its routed up there. They do stuff so weird lol, but at least none of the connections are proprietary like they always used to be

I've actually pulled quite a few Aprevia PSUs out of old prebuilts and they're usually still kicking.
you need to do scrapyard wars, everyone would love to see you 2 guys compete with a 3rd person to make it the best of 3 builds.

Not a bad showing from both sides, though, why not hit up Amazon Resale/Warehouse and or local sales for used parts? Matt could’ve gotten a better case/PSU/mobo that way, a B450 goes for those prices new

went Amazon Warehouse for my 7900X and ended up getting a dead CPU; now getting a new 7900X which was on a very good £270 sale

Cooler Master V550 Gold-V2 + case silencio s400 good as new for 15 euro's
WD Black SN770 1TB still had this one
Total cost was about 230 euros

I love Jawa, everything I have bought there was fairly priced, arrived in a timely manner, and the people there (sellers and staff) have been friendly, and don't give me the sketchy ebay feeling.
Do a budget office pc vs the world series.
Blind testing gamers in games they love then letting them rank the gaming experience 1 out of 10.
Use top bang for buck office pcs (300-450) range
Vs all manners of custom builds at all price points. Then do a chart to show how they differ in ranks.
This will give yohr viewers a 20/20 look at where they want to put their money all in one series.

I was busy doing something else as this video was playing in the background and I seriously thought they were going to race like in go cart ala Mario Kart. I was disappointed when they raced with remote control cars instead. Next time race in go carts.
I use Apevia in any build under $500. They are not bad if you dont stress them. Get one that is overkill for your pc it will last you a long time.

Love the channel and specially the challenges. I just wanted to see, in the last part of all videos, a quick table/ref. telling us AVG FPS per game. Since you guys usually try out only a few games, it should not take up all the screen. Just a thought, who knows ?

Ugh I use a damn Z230 Workstation I got off Amazon in 2020, any tips on someone who doesn't know anything about computers like can I upgrade it or should I buy a completely new PC??? CAN SOMEONE HELP ME?
you can always add more ram if its possible and mayby a gpu, for the gpu i would recomend a 1650, because it doesnt reguire external power cables

@@BakedBeansYT1 well, you technically could upgrade it, but the CPU is too of and it would not really be worth it. I recommend getting a new PC, any PC as long as it's not a sff, or small form factor, with at least an i5-8500 or higher, then you can put a cheap GPU in like a GTX 1650. Hope this helps

How in the heck are you getting nice new RX 6600s for $179? Up here in Canada, the absolute cheapest new one is the basic ASUS Dual one for C$259 (US$190) and any of the nicer ones have shot up to at least US$260+ (presumably due to more limited stock these days).

It's tough to trust them on computer hardware after they built that HP Mini computer with the RX560, covered all the GPU airflow (no vents in the lid), didn't check the fan speed, let it throttle down to (at best) 1/3 the performance it's capable of, and then declared it a bad value.
I got the same case and gpu with R5-4500
Just make a power switch extension.
If you want to think outside of the box and are using a low powered cpu, maybe consider a server psu :) you wont ever win on looks but value,.....you wont lose there
What a terrible waste of money on the used built, how do you pay more on used parts than what new parts cost? Ebay is such a scam nowadays on anything other than GPUs

Never cheap out on a psu. Save the money from a shawarma and put it to a seasonic/sagotep/used corsair

I think it's more due to the fact that PC part prices have been increasing (thanks Nvidia, that greed is really helpful), you probably need to go with a higher budget, like $750, to really see a noticeable performance difference.

I know deals vary, but I found a 6800 (non XT) for $190 buy it now. (Or make an offer, can't remember). Also can verify, bought that Apevia 500w PSU, installed 12100f and B660 with GTX970. It exploded in like 30 mins. Not worth $20 let alone $27.
You definitely got very lucky with that find. Non XT 6800s go for at least $100 more than that used.
For $500, I got a 3070ti with an i7 117000kf. Use local marketplaces.

@@sicr626 2nd hand market is really bad.. It is VERY expensive because in 2024 it is not worth it. the power consumption of old parts is too much and the risk of used hardware as well. So it seems better to just pay that $50-100 more because what are you really saving at this point. The 3060 uses so much power in comparison to the 4060 and in the long run that will really add up. On top of that the 4060 still gets more FPS with less VRAM so really what is the point of 2nd hand market unless you really really really have absolutely no other choice...

With microcenter deals at the time of me buying parts my 3600 was about the same price new
But I also don’t get that kind of fps unless I go performance mode, dx12 is really stuttery and laggy anyone know how to fix that
