I used to PoM Pyro back in actual vanilla, it was so fun xD. I did do the all in arcane power build, definitely want to try this out when I get my mage alt to 60 on classic.

This is a really fun build I remember playing it a lot back in vanilla. Another build I loved was 21 arcane 30 frost. To get POM and Iceblock in the same build. I had tons of fun playing that one as well.

This video made me want to get classic, I miss classic PVP, my first char was a mage. Kept her at 2600 after classic, pom Pyro was op every expansion. Lich King was the best expansion for PVP.. I hope they make a separate Lich King server so I can lead a guild into heroic ICC and be the only Rouge and get BIS PVE gear and go into Arena and 2v1 all the way past 2200. Heroic Deathbringers will, All heroic armor pen gear & gems you would turn plate to 0 defense. Open with killing spree and gg..

Why not get Arcane Power? If you're gonna rely on POM Pyro, the cooldown is the same as AP for huge dmg.

no burning soul.. ? It's really the whole point of the scorch build.
That talent is only good for raids in AQ and Naxx, and even then only 1 mage takes it and is the buff bitch for the rest of the mages. Similar to Winter’s Chill
Nzo Nzo burning soul not imp scorch. Smh
It's more of a one shot build. Poly > pyroblast > POM pyroblast > fire blast > blast wave. You can use frost nova, grenades, etc. to avoid pushback. Scorch has a very fast cast time anyway so it's not really worth spending 2 points in burning soul.

You could do well with any build, but I would say 0/30/21 is vastly superior to POM
yeah having no iceblocks really sucks, because in big fights u can't go deep, or you will die b4 the honor drops.

@Method Venruki you dont want to go out of frost for honor farming my guy, you'll never keep up with people due to your inability to ever (likely) kill more than 2 people alone.
I think part of his choice to play this spec specifically is he's been roaming typically with ziqo but with up to 4-5 so it kinda makes sense

Presence of Mind :) makes any casted spell instant that's where POM Pyro comes from.

so are locks, and rogues, and hunters, and anybody with skill behind them. It is ll on you to play it right, and understand how to gear. They can be tough, but so can any class. A warlock is a lot worse. I just learn to kill them. That is why I am here.

@@Majdar Honestly i did not follow the tournament, but nice if they were on board. I was taking a part in one tournament few expansions ago, GM shut it down because of reward was in-game shop pet. Don´t have anything against their tournament, it brings more people to the game. People have gotten permanent ban from so silly things in the past, gotta be careful.
Or just play mage and face roll. Either or works good
