A lot of their inspiration, creativity and UNIQUENESS comes from where they come from. The unique aspect being key here, as he's going to tell rooted stories where he comes from, get noticed. Then he'll go on to tell larger stories, stepping away from his background but staying true to who he is, in the beginning is what's going to make him stand out.

But it's not wise to write multiple books at once, not that it can't be done but I don't think Mark can dunk that. Mark should wrap up Dark lights then move on to black Harry Potter. Don't make movies make shows, start small, learn to build characters, relationships, stakes then do movies.
