- The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s children have shared their passion for animals with Sir David Attenborough in a newly released video. Prince George, seven, Princess Charlotte, five, and Prince Louis, two, quizzed the 94-year-old broadcaster in a video recorded at Kensington Palace in August. Princess Charlotte revealed that she likes spiders, and Attenborough told Prince Louis that his favourite animals were monkeys

Fun fact: David Attenborough's voice has been recorded so much, that if he were to pass, they could still make more documentaries, by splicing and using pre-recorded words that he has said before.

And Sir David Attenborough is, of course, wonderful at giving age-appropriate answers. Hopefully, lots of (less well-schooled) children will see this and answer for themselves-in an educational context. They are the future, after all. They face a future fraught with environmental problems, and we are already having an “Extinction Event”.
Royalty or not, these bright young siblings give me hope!

While i understand the response to prince georges question, i would admit, he did technically dodge the question, and simply pointed out that he hopes it wont happen, but not if it does happen, which species he thinks it is most realistically going to be.

@bigcatfb I'm gonna guess Rattlesnake. They are very defensive when threatened and 'see' heat or infrared as well as the visual spectrum but then that applies to lots of snakes. Of course most birds can see ultra violet and can be defensive around young. Bats? Their ultrasonics are pretty amazing but then certain cetaceans can also do that. Then of course there are various species that can detect electrical signals which is pretty amazing. And of course certain birds can detect magnetic fields. Now that is amazing. I guess the list goes on. The natural world is a wonderful place.

"What animaw do you think wiw become extinct next?" These young royals need to work on their diction. They sound far too common.
British diction/speech experts say that George and Louis are showing signs of an Estuary English accent and this is the accent that William has. Estuary English is a type of accent identified as spreading outward from London and has features of both received pronunciation and London speech. So it is a combination of Queen's English and London speech, so it is an acceptable accent perfectly acceptable for a British royal to have.
The experts say Charlotte's accent is like Kate's. Kate is classified as having an upper-class accent, so nothing wrong with that.
