The fact there's no other Miles or Gwen is ridiculous. There's literally hundreds of them. But it's a plot point Gwen thinks she's the only one...Someone is lying to her.
Also they're lucky they didn't have a single Pure Evil Variant that would intentionally wipe out the Multiverse by breaking canon events or if they don't exist be extremely disappointed deciding to murder the Society. Where are the Serial Killing and Monstrous Spiders?! Or the Manipulative Evil Doers that pretend they're good but actually evil...Oh wait.
They did every Peter in the multiverse dirty by pretending that Spider-Man isn’t antithetical to everything that the Miguel character stood for. Spidey was never a fatalist.

Like hopefully Beyond explains Noir was never part of them for the reasons that most Peter's wouldn't. Honestly, a scene where Lego Spider-Man stands up to Miguel and defect to Miles and Gwen’s side, after Miguel said he was one of the Spider Socitey’s best, would go pretty hard.
It would be incredible. As well as the fact that him being an actual Lego figure. He's literally a piece of plastic that has no chance in a fight against anyone not from his own universe but he understands what it truly means to be Spiderman and isn't afraid to stand up to Miguel, knowing damn well that there's nothing he can realistically do to stop him

Guys they're not gonna switch sides. Miles already has the Defectors/Third side of Gwen's Band and the Prowlers of Earth 42. He might gain more allies along the way but not anyone from the Society.
It defeats the entire theme of the story if everyone converts to Miles side. Sorry to say it but Lego, Spectacular, Insomniac chose the side you don't like or disagree with. They believe in the Many over the One and/or Do Nothing.

@cydude5856 Exactly, and he's right. If spider man doesn't try and just lets it happen, there will be another uncle Ben. Letting one person die to save everyone isn't his way. Yes, some like ps4 spiderman let those they care about die to save others. However, they didn't just let it happen without at least trying and doing everything they can. That's what frustrates me about Miguel. He just thinks it's better to let them die without reason.

If comic or Edge of Time Miguel found out what ATSV Miguel was doing they would give him one good angry spider-glare before clocking him in the jaw.
This ethical/moral conflict in spider-verse is genius. It's something so present in the real world, that its crazy to see it on a movie like this. Having good guys turned against each other because of what they believe is best is incredible and its being pulled off flawlesly. Can't wait for the conclusion on Beyond The Spider-Verse. This might truly become the best trilogy of all time.
I mean, that's a bold claim to make in my opinion, as I hold Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings film trilogy as the best film trilogy of all time, so Spider-Verse has got its work cut out
My biggest problem with this is exactly what Peter is stating in this very video, I’ll never believe that this many iterations of Spider-Man would blindly go along with Miguel’s plan and let their loved ones or even innocents die because of a warning of the multiverse being in danger. First they don’t have any proof just going off Miguel’s anecdote and that’s probably how they’ll reveal he was wrong in the last movie but that still won’t make me buy that all these spidermen especially Peter Parker’s wouldn’t die trying to save those close to them

I know this is dialogue from the Edge of Time game, but I still stand on my belief that more Spider People would have been defiant to Miguel in the movie besides Miles.
I think the concept starts to hurt once you introduce so MANY different spiders. I can buy 3-4 accepting sob story. But what looks like DOZENS? And none of them arent a little too antihero or bitter or suspicious (without being outright evil) to say anything?
Love the movie but I accept thats one of the little thing Im handwaving to sit thru it.

I like to think that Miguel hurling Lego Spider-Man is him not taking the answer too well.
Miguel likes to believe that everything he does is the right thing to maintain the multiverse, but when Lego Spider-Man makes a point that got to him, Miguel knows that he's right, but is too sore to even realize that, so he silences Lego Spider-Man either because Lego Spider-Man hit a sensitive spot in Miguel or as a way to tell the other Spider-Men not to fuck with him.
And Miguel lost one of his best agents when he spoke up to him.
I hope this actually happens in Beyond the Spider-Verse.
(PS Lego Spider-Man is basically dead because he's outside of his own universe. If you die outside your own universe, you don't regenerate ever.)
