Despite their efforts to protect Masungi Georeserve, its founder and staff continue to face threats from illegal encroachers to this day. It's a challenge that Masungi's forest rangers have accepted - a challenge that protecting this paradise entails danger.

The government should protect and preseve this not only the area but also the people who always guard and protect this natural geological area and this area should be expand to a larger area and the DENR should enforce the law against this illegal company or individual who wants to encroach this land god bless to all n masungi georeserve!🙏❤

I truly support and appreciate those rangers who secure this preserve mountain which vulnerable to proachers and quarries Kasi malaking Pera anjan Kaya interesado mga buaya, government should protect and provide securities in this particular place from illegal logging and poachers.
All that are good, beautiful & true are always in danger. Thus, the preservation of these things is always a constant battle & the people in these battles are unsung heroes in their own rights. This is such a good documentary. Scheduled updates would be good to keep it upfront. They may need more rangers, and their stories would be good to know. This documentary is great for environment groups and NGOs to discuss and use as starting point for their own projects.

Let UP and other academe took over the preservation efforts specially those offering forestry, biology, botany courses, etc. We need participation of organizations not just individuals to preserve this environment. You can't get anything from the LGUs honestly.

I salute to the dedication to preserve Masungi Geoserve as the last forest frontier in that area and of the country. Hope the govt gives subsidy to the Masungi Reservation and plant more endangered specie of trees.

Grabe gobyerno pa ang nangunguna. Bakit hindi gobyerno ang mangalaga ng kalikasan. Mga mentality talaga lalo na ung mga tao sa plotika. Mga vested interest nila. Mga makakapal ang mukha kung sino man ung mataas na tao na nasa politika siya pa ang ang may vested interest. Nakakhiya kayo. Buti pa itong mga ordinaryong tao na ito sya pa ang nagmamalasakit. Dapat nga damihan pa ang mga ranger dito sa lugar na ito. Napaka bayani ninyo. Sila talaga ang tunay na nagmamalasakit sa ganitong mga environment.
Yan ang problema sa ating Gobyerno. ost of the politicians they are running into position for their vested interests.
Rappler po ang gumawa ng documentary na ito. Marami pong katotohanan, pero behind po ay may nakasingit na against the govt. ...yan ang crappler, always playing with people's emotions, tapos pag na hook ka na, ipapasok na ang kanilang anti government agenda.

It is political will that is needed to protect this and other places like it. Good that there are four mayors willing to speak up to cancel the mining contracts. There are pro-environment politicians in the senate and congress. They should be invited to support this cause.

There is something wrong with our system here.The protector of the environment should be the one that get protection instead of the special interest group.How can you let the Ranger do their job and protect themselves without weapons to depend themselves when the authorities don’t even protect them.Also why they jailed them just for doing their job?Its hard to comprehend how corrupt is our government.
