100% agree with this. I don’t think she’s an alternate version of anyone. I think she just loves chaos and will alter her personality or how she justifies what’s she’s doing to screw with people’s minds.
I think Alter is a test subject for an alternate version of Wraith. She was probably that girl in the one comic who had a panic attack when she saw Wrath

So I watched the trailer again, and I actually noticed something… I don’t think she has dead parents. She looks like she’s just making up a bunch of back stories.
Her personality kind of reminds me of the Joker. Especially with his famous quote “ if I’m going to have a past, I prefer it to be multiple-choice”
That lines up with the “OR AM I” at the end

Now its developing into Marvel Superhero bullchit rather than a world with elite fighting forces, massive robots, and a mystery regarding the aliens of that universe.

alter doesn’t make portals to the void but she makes portals to an alternate universe/ pocket dimension, so then probably like other games where u can escape to a pocket dimension then so can other people of the same character so that y’all can still fight each other but just in that pocket dimension

I'm not defending EA, they suck, BUT...
When they laid-off all those QA contractors last year, they stood up a whole new studio explicitly for developing and playtesting new content for Apex Legends (so actual employees are play testing rather than contractors); I do believe that the amount of content from the last 2 seasons, and (based off of leaks) for next season, is due to this new studio (I am cautiously optimistic that it's a sign of an improved development tempo)
