Just managed to set this up using 4 MH-60s and 4 13-man AI lead squads, looks pretty epic as they fly into the airfield for pickup and then as we fly to the insertion point Thanks!
In some cases you only need visuals to understand something. But not in all cases. But aside from assessing the value of this tutorial, some music would be a nice touch. No reason why tutorials can't be fun to watch ;) ~Jkun~
@FunkyMunkyStudios on the transport unload waypoint that u use to insert units into an area u set the behavior as careless and open fire/engage at will if u want the gunners in the helo to shoot back at the enemy.

Very nice to watch tutorial. Explains some basics to me. Now how would you go on about making the helicopter spawn on call, fly to the caller instead of a fixed point and despawn once he's reached his last waypoint and create a radio command with a custom name?
@RyAn639OnXbOxLiVe if u want the helo to drop off the troops then leave use transport unload waypoint where u want it to drop them off and use "move" waypoint after the unload to tell the chopper to lift off and leave. Use get out waypoint where ever u want the pilot to land and get out. Pm me if confused
@PlaneAU u place to load or transport unload(which ever ur using..) literally on top of a helipad of any kind(located in empty-objects) meaning, u place the helipad where u want the chopper to land(invisible helipad recommend) u then click waypoints tab and put ur cursor over te helipad until it says "helipad" and double click which should bring up the waypoint menu, then u put in ur load or transport unload options in.. Hope this helps out. Pm me if u need more info
Sorry I don;t think I get what you mean, all I can say is I followed this video exactly, with the only differences being that the chopper is picking up a 13 man squad rather than just one guy. Also I'm not in any of the squads being picked up, I put myself in an AH64 as the pilot so that I could watch it all take place and then follow the MH60s to the insertion point.
Is this tutorial only for a singleplayermap or does it work at a multiplayermap too ? I wrote this in here because there are differences between DEDICATED SERVERS or if someone only be a HOST of a GAME ! Much DEVELOPERS call it the "on Player connect problem" or if you go in throuble by "JIP" what means "JOIN IN PROGRESS" ?

Insertion is if the helicopter gets you IN the battlefield and Extraction is if he picks you up. Damn, use google and look around youtube for insertion and extraction videos than you understand it
Question: if i were to do multiple of these pickups/dropoffs simultaneously from the same area but with 4 different helicopters of the same type, how would i do that. ive tried giving each singular path an alpha trigger, and each path a different trigger. problem is: they get to the "Move" waypoint that's synched with the radio trigger, but they just hover there instead of executing the pickup. What do i do?
How do you get it to work with planes? Every time I try it for an example with an A-10 It wont work.. Is that just the way it is or something? Don't get it.

Second, if I place a beta channel helicopter, and select beta on the radio, will it come and pick me up from wherever I want? Please take your time to reply.

@nctarheel26 nvm fixed it just had to move the waypoint over me at start

In the init line of the chopper you have to add: heliname land"land";

really awesome,, is it possible to link up a few choppers to follow this one and can they all land and pick up ai allies?
Mine just hovers over the extraction zone for a few seconds and then darts for the insertion zone.
@nctarheel26 How did you get yours to fly away after the insertion? Mine always stays there.
