No disrespect to Dave. He's one of my Top 3 favorite rappers right now. But him saying he wasn't really acting on the rapping parts of Wu-Tang makes sense. He SHOULD'VE been acting. Those were the parts that I always felt was off. I said he was just being Dave East in those parts instead of Method Man and this confirmed it. Method Man as a performer has a whole different level of energy than Dave. I wish he would try to tap into that instead of just rapping like Dave East.
I felt the same exact way! Some his scenes he was legit just being East and not Method Man. Especially certain scenes when he’s rapping, he doesn’t really captures Meths cadence or voice. Regardless he still one of my favorite rappers, I just wish he can get it right with the series.
