Hey! To celebrate the 10 year anniversary of Take Back the Night I did the same thing I did with Fallen Kingdom a year ago and remade the whole song from scratch. This song means so much to me and in the last 10 years I have changed as a person, a vocalist and a songwriter. This is what Take Back the Night would sound like if I made it today with 10 more years of vocal practice, song writing chops and experience.
That said, this isn't meant to improve or replace the original. Nothing can do that. I am extremely proud of the original. As for the remake, I think of every song as an expression of emotion. I kept arrangement of the remake very faithful to the original. Anything that is new in this remake is meant to boost the emotion the song always meant to express. In other words, nothing is meant to replace or correct, only boost and expand. I truly hope you enjoy the 2023 version. Thanks to everyone involved in helping me create this (links below). Can you believe it’s been 10 years since Take Back the Night was originally posted? I really hope you enjoy this remake. We rebuilt the song completely from the ground up. I know that feeling, but I’ve still several months before I hit twenty.
I love the original version a lot, of course because it's an amazing song overall, but it also really takes me back to the good old days. But I think I like this version more. You can really hear how TryHardNinja is more experienced in singing and the strength in his voice is like no other. This song feels kinda different but also as amazing (if not even more) as the old version.

It is sometimes weird hearing voice actors try to recreate something they did so long ago, but this? Very well done
I know right, I know it's the same singer, but people age along with their voices, if a certain lyric is not sung in a certain way it feels like a parody. I love the song is being revisited.

This remake feels a lot smoother and less in your face. Don't get me wrong the original will always hold a special place in my heart, but this one is just a lot more smooth. I feel like I am both at a rave and chilling in a lazy river. 8/10 great song man. You have improved a lot.

Nostalgic 🥲 but still a legend song
Hearing one of my favorite MC songs again in a remastered light - brings tears to my eyes. Now that I look back, these series of videos were a huge inspiration for a lot of things, my singing career from before High school to now, making Castles - broken and new in MC and D&D, invading portals, mysterious strong entities... I am very thankful that I got to grow up with such amazing artists making music for a storyline in a game I've always loved. Please continue making what you love to make, because it is felt through every chord and note.🎶♥
THIS SONG BACK IN THE DAY WAS ALMOST FIRST EVER FANDOM THING THAT I SAW IN MY LIFE, which resulted in me being a fandom boy my whole life, what also includes incredible minecraft fandom, and simply this song being one of my all time favourites and one of most epic, touching and nostalgic!

The Fallen Kingdom series - and TryHardNinja himself was such a distinct part of my childhood when I found youtube, minecraft, fnaf, etc.
Seeing remakes of these songs is amazing, and I can't wait to hear the new songs, the remade songs, and whatever else he has in store.
The fact he can still absolutely nail how the original sounds is so impressive and honestly makes me so impressed at how far he’s come in these 10 years, and how far we’ve all come in these 10 years

I remember listening to this when I was feeling unmotivated at a very young age, I wasnt part of the first watchers, only after the quadrology was completed did I listen to this, yet, it was one of my favorite music videos to listen and gave me some energy back to not only play Minecraft but build stories using it as the fundamental world of said story. Okay.....So I rewatched the original a week ago and thought "wow I wonder what this would look and sound like today". Lo and behold, it happened. Fantastic!
This song is so nostalgic and special to me, I still listen to the original every so often even now. It's awesome that you made a newer version of it! And while I honestly prefer the original over this one, there are still little details I can appreciate about this version- for example, the little change you did in the pluck melody throughout the song where instead of the exact melody playing over and over again, there's the slightest change with one of the notes where it's raised by one note, I liked that subtle change! I'm gonna find a timestamp for this example...

I remember when this song first dropped back in 2013 when I was only 14, I created the herobrine skin for my character and I imagined that I was fighting the hero in my own world. Now I'm almost 25... I don't play the game as much as I used to. So much has changed and my life is so different, but I wouldn't change any of it; all of the pain, the happiness, and the memories... It's been a wild 10 years but hearing this has brought back loads of nostalgia and emotion. I'm glad you remade this.

Everything is happening right now, there’s this, and if you haven’t seen, the original singer for the Pokémon s1 opening, Jason Paige, has made two songs in remembrance of the times gone by. One is a full 3:22 song, and the other is only just a minute long CZcams short, but they truly are amazing. As a (younger) kid, songs like these were all I looked forward to when I grabbed my tablet. All I would do was listen to video game music, especially this song along with the others in the fallen kingdom series. You know, I remember when this first came out and it took the internet by storm. Especially me. This song is what got me invested in the fallen kingdom series and each new song after got me excited as I knew the series was focused with story telling. Now I’m 19 and coming back to this song to find it remade? Amazing. Not to mention how smoother the song is compared to the original. The OG will always be my favorite for nostalgia but in terms of audio, TRYHARDNINJA did amazing with polishing up the song!!

I remember finding the fallen kingdom (complete series) like somewhere in 2016 or 2017. Even if I didn’t see the release of this song in 2013, it’s still an amazing song.
This. This is how this song sounded when I was 12 years old. This was my favorite Minecraft song growing up, no competition. I always felt that it transcended the genre of minecraft youtube, and here I am proven right. I don't even know how to describe the emotions running through me right now when I listen to this.
