Another day, another achievement for our family. After three days in our house without internet, the internet company finally came. We applied for an internet plan, 200 mbps for 1700 pesos. Our internet will be very fast which means we will be able to upload our videos on the internet faster. We are very happy.
Living near the road also has it's advantages. This morning a man on a motorcycle was selling fish. We bought the fish for a cheaper price than at the market.
The next day Ate Rhea and her family visited us and they brought an interesting drink. We call it Tubâ here in the Philippines. Tubâ is a Filipino fermented and slightly alcoholic beverage made from the sap of various palm trees such as nipa and coconut palm. Boris and I tried it for the first time. It was surprisingly good, it tastes like a Russian drink called kvass. My husband and I liked it very much.
Two electricians also came to our house. They are here to install more sockets for us to use and also to install more light bulbs. While they were working, Boris and I started working on our yard. We got rid of some bushes and dried branches.
Install CCTv every corner of the house. And install Solar lights where can capture the cctv footage. Slowly but surely. Always pray for God’s protection and guidance🙏❤️
Put cctv for safe and put light all the corner of the house and make sure the door is more secure..

Renovation is more expensive and difficult for an old house like that. Building a new small house is way easier. Boris is a very skilled person and he can build there own new house with his own design. I can say this because my dad is a skilled carpenter and he made our house by himself by our help.(his children)
Yes I agree better build a new house building away a little bit from the road at least five meters or more away from the road for fence allowance and a good landscaping for the future.
Just my two cents, you can build a new house at the back of your existing house later.. you can convert that existing house into a store, really too near a street is dangerous if unsecured..

Perhaps you can use a Hoe that has a square head with a long handle to use for clearing the property around you. With the long handle you can use to clear the weeds as well as checking for snakes or predators before they can attack you and you can kill it with the metal head and not get hurt! Please use thick garden gloves and bug spray on yourself before you get bit by some mosquitoes and get Dengue fever. Trust me, this is for your protection.👍❤️

Just tie the bolo tightly with a wide-sized black rubber temporarily. All new bolos are detached like that especially if it is not stucked well. Epoxy will not help. Rubber is much better if it is temporary. Then replace it with a customized welded handle from Blacksmith Shops or Supermarkets. The lighter one. Not the heavy one. But always use cheap Cloth Gloves that can be bought from the Mini Hardwares in the Palengke or Local cheap stores like Novo inorder to protect your palms and fingers from sores. Especially the right hand that you mainly use. Leave the left hand ungloved. Because constant use of bolos might create sores on your hands and fingers. Always pray for protection before striking thick deeper areas of your property. Or carry a blessed Rosary in your pocket. Better pay someone if it is a bigger area that you will clean so that you will not get tired. Because getting rid of weeds is very tiring at the lower back. Lawn mower with a long handle is a convenient one. Avoid banging the blade on a rock. Because not all the time, you can hire people. You do not trust someone that often especially Men Workers whom you do not know well. But basically, Province is far more safer to live compared with the City. So long as there are no wandering Drug Addicts around.

you have to own a dog also so it will warn you by barking when a snake intrude into your property. A dog will also run after the robbers when they attempted to enter your property.
With pair (cement fence) even just infront with steel gate for "safety" not only for you both, but also the house from vehicle accidents, and provacy
Kindly make sure that you have fences all over your house and make your door locks safe remember you are near the road its not safe ...
It will slow the thief maybe by 10 seconds. One kick in the door and any lock is useless. Unless you have metal doors with safety lock.

Since your house walls were full of smudge and dirt, you can scrub it with cloth dipped on a pail of water with liquid soap so that it will be ready for painting again. For it might take a long time to be replaced with a new wall or plywood since there were so many things that you need to prioritize first. You can buy 2 or more Lighters (P15) as reserve for igniting your dried leaves or Dirty kitchen. Keep Paper wrappers or light cartons during Marketing/Groceries in a covered container used for lighting purposes inorder to prevent accidental fires like thrown cigarettes. Do not open Gasul for ignition so as to minimize gas consumption and fire accidents. Candle is used for prolonged use only. Gasul must be inside your house inorder to avoid Evil plots who will open the tank pipes or accidentally opened by children who goes inside your backyard for curiosity. Just transfer the Gasul outside later if your backyard is walled or grilled. Keep your doors double-locked including the back door. Hang thick curtains at your windows so that you will not be seen when someone is watching especially when your lights are on. Always keep the lights outside turned on every night and the inside of your house off. Do not on everything because it will cause high Electricity Bills. Only the important areas only. Sleep with your strong flashlights near you so that you can easily focus on the commotion inside your house when you are looking for something that you need like weapons or rising up for a drink or to pee. Dig for a compost pit for decomposed organic materials like leaves, twigs, and trunks for your plants and cover it with an old Steel Roof to avoid accidents like children falling into it. An old plastic drum can also be used for composting filled with organic materials and soil covered with a plywood scrap.

Good for you both. Candle in a glass or tin. You need to be really safe, PIR Lights for night, a dog and CCTV. Secure valuables away, bury a safe etc. Open drinks and snacks shop for tourists, sell T Shirts of the Encanted River etc. I would consider paying a team for one day to come and clear the ground. I have a suggestion.. 18:55 Instead of burning the dried leaves..leave it in a certain area that is not obstructing the view and your plants.. Leave it until it decays naturaly, its a good source for organic fertilizer and good for the environment since you are planning to have a backyard garden.. I also live in countryside and we have bananas in our backyard, what we do with the dried leaves and trunks of cutted bananas is we just put it the sorroundings of the growing bananas so when it decomposed it will give nutrients to the growing ones..
