I've inherited my grandfather's Royal Enfield which was bought in 1977. I would never trust my bike with anyone except Mr.Jaf. I have done a 2000 km 5 day trip on my machine which is 40 + years now. At Any point if I have a hiccup, I call him and he is patient enough to guide me with the know how to rectify the problem and return safe. Cheers to the riding spirit.

Bullet Shankar from Thiruvanmayur back to bus depot is also one of the best bullet specialist in Chennai, I’m from Madurai nd I’ve 1974 model Bullet for 3rd generation right from my grandpa, avar than patharu, enaku avarta kudukum pothum enga oorula kudukera oru feeling!. Unless nd until even just a small screw still it become useless he never suggests us to change anything for claiming money, he charges very justifiable!.. I restored my 94 model bullet here! I stay in Hosur. I travel 300kms to Chennai to service my bike. One day this Gentleman taught me how to general service my bike. Now I've done 5 to 6 general service. I call now & then and he clears my doubt over phone. He's a sharp man and he knows what he does.

Maideen Pichai Rawuther, Mohammad Shabjan bhai were Experts in AJS, BSA, Triumph, Norton and James. Siqnce 1940's to 1950's Mr.Maideen Pichai Rawuthar and Mohammed Shabjan Bhai were top mechanics in Madurai and Surrounding South Zones. And in 1952 Mr.Shabjan Bhai Started his Own Mechanic Shop in the Name SM Motors, Near Central Library Madurai. Maideen Pichai Rawuther and Shabjan Bhai were experts in Magdynamo, SR magneto and all types of Amal Carburettors. They were not techno commercialists. Now Mr.Mohammad Rafi and Mr.Jahir is Successfully doing their works after Mr.Mohammad Shabjan bhai passed away and still Mr.Rafi is following his father's principles. His age also almost 55years. Still Mr.Mohammad Rafi Set perfect timing in old bullets With SR magneto, Mag dyanamo and Amal Carburettors. Not only in Old Bullets. He is knowledged in old Matchless, AJS and Some other vintage Motorcycles. I have seen water droplets dripping out from the Silencer in Old bullet (CI Engines) after restoring the Engines. I know him very well. I have done my bullet service from 1990 to 2000. There is a oil leakage in the engine. Even the service center not able to solve the problem. He found that leakage is coming from the casting blowhole problem. He rectified it. He is very famous. Once i land in India and whenever I find time I will meet him. Straight forward and perfect gentleman. - venkatesh
