Lucy Thomas is one of the best singers I've heard in a long time......She doesn't have to scream, rift, or jump all over the place......just a beautiful natural voice.
rifts aren't an issue when done correctly. Lucy does do rifts in other songs depending on what type of song it is. A classic like this she sings classical. Other pop type songs she will sing with more of her chest/mix voice and give it some color. In those songs she will do some rifts like when she did Hallelujah.

Whe I was about 9 years old God showed me vision about heaven, I was amazed by the sound in heaven, people on heaven singing so beautiful and the harmony was so beautiful, they sing like in choir, qnd they sing Holy holy. My favorite Christmas song. My favorite teacher in the third grade sang that capella. He was my band teacher. That was his last day he left to become an Evangelist. Lol he had a bad temper but we loved him because he gave a damn. He went through a lot ob batons. He broke some threw some you get the idea. He was born in Lebanon but left and became a Christian. Weird thing that was all in Virginia. I was in the process and of moving and was watching a south Dallas church service and I swear he was the guest speaker. But it was a recording I had missed him by one day. Found his FB page but he had passed so I'll have to wait until I see him in heaven.
