Rukmini Harana and Bibaha(marriage) rituals of Mahaprabhu at Shrimandir
“ जय जय जगन्नाथ सुर्यवंश समुद्भव,
रुक्मिणीपति देवेश शेषछत्र सुशोभितः |
आंजनेय प्रियः शान्तः रामरूपी सुवन्दितः,
कुर्वन्तु मंगलं क्षेत्रे भक्तानां प्रियवादिनां || "
Rukmini Harana and Bibaha(marriage) rituals are conducted in Shrimandir on Jyestha Shukla Ekadashi.On this day during Sakala Dhupa,Shri Madanmohan will be dressed like a Warrior King inside Dakhini Ghara.After the completion of Sakala Dhupa,Pujapanda sevak will provide Agyanmaala from Mahaprabhu to Sridebi.After that Mahajan sevaks will take Sridebi and place her in the palanquin kept near Satapahacha.After that the palanquin will be carried to Mahalakhmi temple inside Shrimandir by Vimana Badu Sevaks.There Sridebi will be placed on a cot kept at the Jagamohan of Mahalakhmi temple.There she will be offered Panchamruta Snana,Majana,and Banak Lagi.Then she will be adorned with jewellery.
Then Tadhau Karana will reach there with palm leaf and traditional pen.There Bhitarcha Mohapatra will touch both the items to the idol of Shridebi and then Tadhau Karana will write a manuscript.After that Bhitarcha will paste the letter to Sridebi’s hand using Chandan(Sandalwood Paste).One sevak Will act as Bipra Bramhin and will go to Jaya Bijaya Dwara.After completion of Bhoga Mandapa,Madanmohan will recieve Agyanmaala from Mahaprabhu and will be taken to Jaya Bijaya Dwara.There Bachanika(Traditional Dialogues) will be said in the presence of Puranapanda,Pujapanda and Palia Khuntia.After that Madanmohan will be seated in a Chariot kept near Sata Pahacha and will be taken to Bimala Temple.In the meanwhile Sridebi will be taken to Bimala temple for Kuldevi Puja.There the items provided by Parbajatra Jogania will be offered to Maa Bimala.Shri Madanmohan will abduct Sridebi just outside Bimala Temple.This will be conducted by Bhitarcha Mohapatra.After that Madanmohan will defeat Sisupala and tie him to the chariot near Saraswati Temple. After that Ramakrushna will recieve Agyanmaala from Shri Balabhadra and untie Sisupala and let him free and they will return to Dakhini Ghara.After that Sridebi and Madanmohan will be offered Panti Bhoga.Then they will be taken to the marriage hall and Chandan Lagi will be conducted.
After that Garbhagruha will be cleaned and Jata Bhoga,Jalakrida,Madhyanna Dhupa, and Sandhya Alati rituals will commence.After that Mahasnana will be done and the deities will be offered new clothes and 6 gold ornaments set.While Sandhya Dhupa Puja will continue at Ratnasinghasan,Pujapanda sevaks will start marriage rituals at the marriage hall.After the completion of marriage rituals,other rituals will commence in Shrimandir.
