@@MattyVSM he does in studio recordings, just not live, there was a case a few years ago where he developed tonsil stones because of the excessive screaming so he had to slow that down in live shows

Wdym "low key" they are a HUGE band with a HUGE following lmao. There is nothing low key about their success and the songs they've written.

If I remember correctly (and that's a massive IF) this song was about a dodgy relationship with both sides being toxic but he still yearns for her, a feeling of loss in the crap they put each other through. Very 2010s core but still a banger.
Would love a follow up with Tears pt2. Not as intense but from memory it's a solid follow-up story wise
Edit: your take on wrong choices and inner turmoil is probably the right take, at the very least still fits with what we had 10 years ago as kids, just refined

Bullet was one of the earlier bands i got into that mixed clean vocals in woth the heavy scratch vocals which opened the floodgates to my teen years filled with heavier and heavier music selections.
The Australian band Polaris is definitely a must react band when it comes to scream+clean vocals start with the songs Pray for Rain and Masochist with Masochist having a music video them or ERRAs songs Snowblood or Dementia. Both very talented bands with a good sound.
Same man. I used to be into classic rock and hiphop when I was a teen. Then borrowed an ipod from my buddy when we went to the skate park and the first song I heard was this song. It got me so jacked up and opened the metal/metalcore flood gates for me as well. Also, great suggestions on the other two bands. Been listening to Erra for a few years and recently found Polaris. You should look into more Australian metal/metalcore bands. They are damn good at pumping out those genres.

This was one of the most popular bands there was when I was growing up. I first heard of them when I was around 15 or 16. And I discovered them by accident. I have been hooked ever since. My God this really takes me back, I am tripping down memory lane. You are in for a treat, honey.

Both Matt Tuck, and the bassist in this song/video were a huge influence with my screaming vocals. Along with Casey (RIP 😔) from Hawethorne Heights, Oli Sykes from BMTH and Chester (RIP 😢) from Linkin Park. The whole The Poison album was truly amazing and a major introduction into metalcore for me

I love bfmv. I went back to listen to the Poison album and I forgot how nasty they got with the instruments. The outro to her voice resides is ear orgasmic lol the solo on 4 words (to choke upon) gave me stink face all the way through 💀 Matt's voice on the end is hypnotic. U might wanna check that one out

They were EVERYTHING when I was a teen.
This is my favorite song from BFMV and they’re my favorite band. I’d also recommend the songs “hearts burst into fire” “her voice resides” and “your betrayal”. Pretty much all the songs on their first 3 albums are amazing. This song is off their album “the poison” which was their first album under the name “bullet for my Valentine”. They use to go by the name “Jeff killed John” before they got signed to a label. Once they got signed, they changed their name to BFMV. They released a demo album and 3 EP’s under that name. U can find them on CZcams. They’re pretty good and u can hear influences from some of those Jeff killed John songs in some of the early BFMV songs. I wish they would re-record all the songs they released when they still were under the “jeff killed John” name

One of my favorite hard rock/metal songs for awhile now. Not an extreme tune but it rocks. I think the way she got them both at the end was awesome.
This song is just iconic, the whole album that includes this song is so. If you liked it you could listen to the Spotify version which is 1 minute longer and has way more guitar on it🔥

I saw bullet years ago when they first started. It was in a shitty bar in Birmingham called the custard factory. They sold CDs on a bench by the stage. They were great then and just got better and better
