Old Made New - Part Two: In the Ground

Good things take time, and just like waiting for seeds to grow after months of working the ground we are finally out of the ground. I never realised how much work would go into the foundation but here we are, ready to build and only the rain can hold us back.
Old made new is our journey of a homeschooling family building a home studio with the help of a few friends and family.

Great to see a family dream in progress. I had a similar experience years ago. My kids were so excited with each phase of the project. Way to go! Can't wait to see more.

Involving the kids and letting them participate in the process allows them to see both the effort required and the finished product. I bet you are already aware of the benefits in what the kids can learn about achieving goals through hard work, but for me seeing the dream unravel is crossing between foresight and hindsight. I find myself looking both back to the planning days and forwards to the next stage, and each step feels more possible and less impossible. :)
