    THANK YOU for showing the bit about sewing it on facing incorrectly. Yes! It happens. ❤️

      Thank you so much for watching. Unfortunately I don't have the knowledge to draft patterns for any size. There are many free patterns out there for you to use, it just takes time searching for them🙂 Another option is for you to trace around an item you already own, add seam allowance and then sew it. To make a dress with this pattern you could trace the top part and draw a line flaring out from the waist line or just cut the top and attach 2 rectangles roughly 1.5 times bigger than the measurement of the top pattern to make a gathered skirt.
      For free underwear, check the Bummies from Brindille and Twig.
      Thank you so much for watching🥰

    I really don’t understand the directions at 7:50 about somehow putting the linings together. I’ve watched that part about 25 times and I don’t understand 😅

    • @iambeesilva
      @iambeesilva  Před rokem

      No worries. I'll try and explain this in another way. Lay the side flat matching them at the underarm seams and raw edges. Then grab both the lining pieces and fold them together over to the same side making sure evrything is still aligned and then sew over it from the top to the bottom. Hope this helps. Let me know how you get on😊

    Do you have any tips for sewing up the armholes? Mine dont seems to match up .

    • @iambeesilva
      @iambeesilva  Před rokem

      Try laying both bodices flat open, separating the lining and main. Match up the seams and then fold them over each other like in the video. Let me know how you get on😊

      Thank you for your message. I rarely get the opportunity to sew for boys because we don't have any in our family. Hopefully I may soon though, as someone in the family is expecting and we are waiting to find out what the gender is. 😊

    The only thing I noticed is that you did not do anything to finish the edge of your lining pieces at the bottom. Why is that?

    • @iambeesilva
      @iambeesilva  Před 10 měsíci

      As this is jersey it does not fray, so finishing the edge is not necessary. This would come down to personal preference if you want to finish the edge.😊 Thanks for watching!

    How would I change this pattern if I don’t want snaps?

    • @iambeesilva
      @iambeesilva  Před rokem

      You can substitute for buttons, or velcro( but unsure if this will hold well). If you want no closure at all, overlap the shoulder straps, remove the excess and sew a seam. As the necklines are quite high, you would also need to redraw a lower neckline for ease of putting on and taking off. Hope this answer your question.😊
