    CT here. My brother used to ride local tracks and would tell me about this “super fast pro” (you) who would like whip and scrub the massive jumps like nothing. I was out in CA riding the REM races at GH etc. so cool to see you as a person and I’ve become a huge fan. Your CZcams work is an excellent supplement to the TV coverage and the perspective from your content is unique. Wish you all the best and I m not pissed anymore when you take me out in MX vs ATV! 😂

    • @AjCatanzaro
      @AjCatanzaro  Před 3 lety +11

      Good observation! So being that far outside and having a paddle tire on the clay start, there was zero chance of getting any type of good start. So my strategy was to just cut underneath and be on the inside for the first two turns

    • @vintagemxer9165
      @vintagemxer9165 Před 3 lety +1

      @@AjCatanzaro With only 4 riders getting into the main my strategy would be to NOT use a paddle tire as the start is ultimately "The race" especially with 2 top riders in the LCQ and I would take the risk of timing the gate drop. Not being in the top 6 or so in the first turn would be a fail in making the main. Continuing on in a poor position only risks further injury. But, who am I to say. Maybe sponsors want you out there regardless.

    Your videos are great! I have been watching Supercross for years. I have a question, other then funding what separates a privateer team or riders from the factory guys other then funding? I know any many forms of motosports money buys speed but in Supercross its more about the rider. I've heard of factory guys bikes being very close to stock bikes. Are some guys just that much better then everyone else?

And it's probably fun to be part of the big show. The fact that people are even asking this question is sad indicator of the state of society these days.
