Put a screw in the mount before u mount it then push it up against the wall with the screws in the mounting holes. Should get a spot in the drywall that’s where u put the screws to mount. Don’t forget to level it as u do it.

You can insert a drywall piece by using a box cutter, cheap white glue, spring clamps and flat craft sticks. Let it dry, then glue the back of the drywall piece and put it in place. No drill, no saw, no sheet metal no screws. Take the paper off the old drywall and dissolve it in a bit of water.
