I do a lot of films, And I totally understand this color correction for this kind of film. The original footage was probably much brighter and they wanted to tone it down to make it more in that sad slow mood.

I've watched many vids with this "anti-noir" style. By the explanation (add video and music) I feel the "simple way of life" that the movie shows and the monotony linking with the sadness (not analyzing the music letter)

Everyone keeps talking about the color grading of this video and I was wondering if this some kind of "cross processing" technique. I've seen this style a lot lately and I'm not too sure what you'd call this type of color grading!
