As a single person myself, I would have no issues living in a place this size.
And in my opinion we need more of these types of homes. Hopefully affordable
Valcon41 Yes I totally agree but if they’re a reasonable price lol. My rent is far from affordable so it is kinda hard knowing I’m paying so much for only 600 square ft!

I love these kind of small apartments too but in my home country, every apartment is like 2 or 3 bedrooms which is really not affordable if you’re just out of college or single. Having a roommate could work but it’s really not that easy to find someone willing to share a space with you.
@@ravenasmr146 the problem is once the government, and big corporations get involved, that's when things get more expensive. They need to ease up a bit on restrictions. Also it seems like when building, everything has to be all fancy, top of the line appliances, lighting, etc. Whatever happened to simple?
I don't know why I enjoy and looove watching small appartment tours whaaay more than big houses tours, am I the only one ?

Me & my husband live in a place this size and feel it's huge! In Europe this is a large apartment, trust me.
It makes me laugh that this is classed as small. I live in London and this is pretty standard size! Nice flat!! xx
I experienced the same thing when i was in Paris. Im American so my air bnb felt small but the french people considered it quite standard or big.
where i’m from it would also be considered standard, or even big
the kitchen, laundry room and bedroom seem to be pretty spacious
i find that north americans usually live in huge apartments lol while here in south america ou europe apartments have a more normal size

You really know how to maximize your space. I thought the apartment would be too small but this makes me feel relieved about the apartment we're moving into which is 638 sq ft
Makayla Richer I know this is crazy to say but we moved into an apt that is 100 square feet bigger and I miss my 617 sq feet i felt more at home and comfy. Don’t worry, you will really enjoy your space :)
It's nice. You have everything you need, washer/dryer, good size closet, a pantry and an out door space to boot!

Yes, I have no dishwasher , no washer & dryer , and we have no overhead lighting at all except for one ceiling fan/light in the dinning area and of course bathroom . So weird that living room bedroom and kitchen have no lights .your place must have been built more recently
Someone said the furniture is too large, I disagree. It actually looks perfect for the space. Very cozy and comfortable. Thanks for sharing.

It is too large. Big furniture in a small space only makes the space smaller...but hey.
When i read the title i was expecting a shoe box apt lol but your apt is great and u have a washer and dryer area and a patio not to mention that bedroom closet here in nyc we can only wish to be that blessed with that space and amenities for an apt

So odd to me that you think your apartment is small. That apartment is a fantastic size! I guess it's all in perspective. I'm from New York and I have a 630 ft² one bedroom apartment and it is ginormous. I have a king size bed with plenty of room to spare in my bedroom. Huge closets, dining area, medium kitchen with full size appliances and tons of cabinet space, and a large living room. Very spacious and airy. My friends jaws dropped when they saw how big my apartment is. People here would kill to have an apartment the size of yours! It's great!
Isn’t it crazy how we all have different perspective depending where we live?? I’m From Texas and I consider 600 square ft small and about 900-1000 decent size but I know how it is in New York so I definitely understand and I can see why your friends think 630 is big

I like this apartment layout very much. Dishwasher and laundry room are a big plus and the bedroom closet. However for me, the thing to consider in smaller apartments is furniture scale. But each of us decorates to our own taste.

In London this would be considered a double 1 bed flat and depending on areas it would go at between £290-£490, higher end being in central London . Really nice flat / apartment. The kitchen is very nice

My apartment is 865sqft and it looks waaaaaay smaller compared to your apartment. Maybe because your apartment is wider than mines. Your living room, kitchen and bedroom is wider than mine 😩

My husband and I live in a 779sq foot apartment, one bed one bath pretty similar to yours but our bathroom is giant and laundry area is out on balcony, i don’t like it outside, our complex is new, your apt is very cute

I clicked on this video to get an idea of sizing, in probably going to get a small sectional that can fit 3 people and possibly an arm chair. There is no where to put barstools so I’m to squeeze a small table with two chairs in somewhere
ESBEAUTII yes I think a sectional would work so much better with this size. Our sofas barely fit in here. We would have much more room with a sectional! It’ll work out great

I would have eliminated the chair and replaced it with a smaller accent chair. I would have also moved the mirror and hung it above the sofa or place 1 large piece of art or 3 medium sized pieces of art. once you removed the mirror I would have gotten 2 end tables with 2 lamps or 2 tripod lamps. A tv console to go under the tv.

i krystle, my gf and i recently bought a duplex which on each side has 3 story of 650 sq ft each, now we’re thinking to convert our duplexe to a 6 unit appartment building.at first i thought it would be way to small but seeing this video gives me a lot of ideas and hope to move forward with our investment and projects, do you remember the dimensions of this appartment? especially the room and the bathroom?
The couches are too big for ur apartment if u only had one couch then it would look a lot more full

Your apartment looks bigger than 600sq
I think it has a lot to do with how you use the space & what type of furniture you have. There’s another girl I watched on here that has the same square footage as my apartment but hers looks bigger because it’s laid out differently. I personally think this specific apartment looks small because of how the furniture is laid out. I personally think it’s way too crowded but that’s just me. Doesn’t look any bigger than 600 sq ft though.
