Psalms 47:7 says “For God is the King of all the earth; Sing praises with understanding”. The implication of this scripture is that we should know why we worship and praise God.
We praise and worship God not because of what we can get from Him but for who He is. Our worship does not add to Him nor take from Him. He is God with or without our worship. All of the creation worshiped Him, including the mighty waves of the ocean, the flashes of lighting, the billions of galaxies in the universe, and YOU His beloved.
This Sunday, Pastor Nathaniel Bassey led us to worship, adore, magnify, and extol Yahweh in a glorious service. Our prayer is that Worship becomes a lifestyle and not just a ritual we perform when we want something from God.

I was about to die from an overdose in my apartment in Miami all alone after so many different drugs…I went to grab my phone and I couldn’t even see what I pressed and out of no where CZcams started and this song played. My heart was beating out of my chest and then the room turned white and I felt at peace. My heart slowed down and I survived. Jesus Christ is real people. He saved my life.

I am still in the valley but his music is so uplifting and gives hope. I know eventually my God Will come through but whilst I am still waiting, I will praise and worship from the valley.
