Game 2, why would they keep a hand like that? All buff and nothing to put it on. My experience with hands like that is like keeping a 2 lander with a bunch of three mana spells. You're not gonna draw the third any time soon.
As a rule of thumb, the sweet hand for red is 2-2-3 - it doesn't matter which is which as long as you have at least 2 creatures, at least 2 lands and at least 2 spells. Anything else is a mulligan, and if you have to go to 5, you need at least 2 lands and then trust to the Mountain God to supply the rest. There are some mad outlying hands where you can keep a 1-lander, but they are very rare. But some players can't even be bothered to learn that much about their deck.
Everything is busted. Nobody talks busted mono red that I hate. These cards are busted cause red is busted. In mythic no one plays anything but red.
In platinum and diamond too...

They need to nerf red decks a bit. That’s all you see unless you’re playing another format.
