The thing is, that Federer's knee and back problems ruined him, as he was not able to keep playing like this because of them, he couldn't generate all those science-defying shots anymore, the only thing he had to pull from his back pocket was the NEO backhand, but as soon as everyone figured it out by everyone, he stopped winning much again
