Ive decided since the videos are roughly over 20 mins, viewers like you can now more easily find the exact part you need answers to by searching the category. -Cd00x Transmission -Manual Driveshaft -Pivot Ball for Shift Fork -Shift Fork -Throwout Bearing -Slave Cylinder -Clutch Pressure Plate -Clutch Disc -Flywheel - Flywheel bolts (8x) -Pilot bearing FOR manual -Slave Stainless braided line to hardline - Hard line from Master Cylinder to slave line (on drivers side front wheel well) -Clutch Master Cylinder -Clutch Pedal -Manual brake Pedal -Shifter WITH spring and plate to bolt to transmission w/3 bolts -Rubber shift boot to cover trans tunnel -Cloth shift boot -Shift Knob -Manual Shifter trim
G35 WITH FOOT PEDAL E BRAKE ALSO NEEDS:
-Removal of Foot brake -Hand ebrake - Ebrake cable for hand brake (from manual G35)
-Center Console for Hand brake (from manual G35)

Great video! The AT pilot bearing kicked my a**. I bought/ returned / bought bearing pullers that all failed. Then , the bearing puller I rented flexed too much and would come out on the 2nd /3rd hit. I had to tag in help to get my pilot bearing out ... I'm also convinced that I need my own shop space for my hobbies. Keep putting out quality content.

Ok i have a rev up motor with low miles but the motor is blown. I got it like that. I have a vq non rev up AT. I want to put my 6mt into my vq. Can I re use all the parts when I swap. ?
So the vq in the 09-15 maxima can be manual swapped, no one has a video on CZcams doing the build would love to see you pull it off an help me do it on my own maxima

Can this guide be used for the 2008 350z. From factory the 2007 and up have a JK41B 6 speed.

Do you know when swapping a 350Z HR from Auto to manual is there a way to turn off the service engine light because mine popped up I did not swap the ECU to Emmanuel one I have a manual ECU but I have not plugged it in do you think plugging in the manual one will turn it off

I sourced a lot of my parts just from pick and pulls and yards with nissan/infinity. ebay is also good for getting parts because they can ship to you from anywhere in the country. Got it done! Struggled with the wiring a bit but everything else went smoothly.

The only wiring is splicing into the wire that controls the park neutral switch so that the computer allows the car to start. The mistake we made was cutting the wire rather than splicing into it as the video demonstrates.

I tallied up all the parts on eBay new and used and it comes out to $1600 with tax and shipping for everything here except the clutch pedal which Iâm looking for now. Thatâs with a new trans.
after swapping the trans did you get the U1000 code? im having that problem, i bought the car swapped so idk if the ecu was programed
Yesss that code is a communication code since the ecu was programmed for the swap
Hey so if I changed out the ecu and engine harness for an MT harness will that allow me to have the reverse lights and clutch safety switch as if it was stock? Or do I still have to wire stuff.
Also does flashing the ecu help with the codes and the check engine light so that it can pass inspection? Ik here in PA if they even the light they fail inspection

In doing a manual swap on my g37 . Would i be better off using the ecu and remove NATS, or buy an engine harness for manual and require the whole thing ??
G37 is different for me tbh, I think you could use the ecu and jump the "park" switch to allow it to start like how the z was jumped terminals by the battery, I am not certain tho, havent done the g37

Will this work on a G35? I assume it will, but I had a shop tell me I needed the motor and trans combo and ECM. Not sure why I needed a motor to match the manual transmission

so there is a hard line factory that runs from the master down under the driver wheel well cover and to the trans area on manual g35/manual 350z, the customer bought that hard line and then we just put an upgraded slave cylinder line from the hard line to the slave. If you get the one from ebay or amazon or something like that, the long braided line cuts out the need for the hard line and goes directly from the master to the slaveđ€

No you donât. Thereâs a wire you need to splice on the IPDM that will trick the car into thinking itâs always in park to start. Iâve done this to my Z and never had any problems. This is the link on how to wire it

Hello, I have an 06 350Z, which is VQ35DE 5AT, 280hp, I'm going to a single turbo on it, with Transgo kit, I got few questions and since I live in Brazil is veryvery very hard to see people who understand of this car, even on forums like my350z
My biggest problem is the transmission, I was looking for another transmission to put in, but in Brazil we pay 100% import tax over the product + shipping price, so if 2k usd for the cd009 + 500 shipping I pay 2500 + 2500 usd.
Usually people wage here is 120 to 200 a month, of course I'm not like those peoples but I'm not rich if I put my money in USD's
So basically I have 2 questions to know where should I run:
1- Any other transmission that I could find to swap even if I need adapt few things? Like Nissan Frontier 6MT? Which year could be good? Or any other?
2- How much power can the 350z 2006 5AT transmission handle with Transgo? I was looking for 500whp or something close to it, you think the transmission with transgo will handle that? Or should I jump for a swap ( but there is not even one 350z transmission to sale in whole Brazil )

I'm not the creator but see if you can get a T56 or LS based manual transmission. There are a lot of swap kits for putting those into Zs and some manual Z drivers swap those in because they are stronger than the CD00A in the 350z.
Ok so my car is at the mechanic right now and it needs a new engine. Can an engine from an auto be used with my manual transmission and be made to work?
Yessir. Same engine. Just change the pilot bearing to the manual trans pilot bearing and everything else works normally

@@Whiteaaron15 is a manual harness a plug and play onto an auto engine? Sorry this is my first time im going to do something like this so wanna make sure I have the right parts
@@Conker999 the engine doesnt matter as long as the 02 sensor plugs are the same, however the manual and auto harness are different plugs for the transmission, the engine will all plug in but when you go to plug in trans if you have manual and have auto harness or vice versa, the transmission sensors wont plug in and you wont have some functions of the car, like reverse lights etc
