- finally we have some answers I think I may have forgot to mention he also has a noticeable speech delay so that is another thing he will be having an eval for to try to correct. I am so happy to finally have answers to the many many questions we had. I could have discussed a lot more but was on short time so please if you have any questions leave them below and I can make a separate video on that as well.

I'm so glad you've finally got some answers!
I'm glad you finally have a diagnosis, i could only imagine going through all this :( thanks for sharing and explaining x
I'm going to come back to watch this in full. Spreading the Love YTMM!! xoxo
I'm so glad to see other moms on here sharing there stories. My son was diagnose last year. He 3 1/2 now and doing so much better since going into Prek special needs program. At home is a different story, but we are getting help with his behavior . Thanks for sharing it really helps:)
I am glad other mothers can watch how this process goes so they don't feel so alone.
I felt the same way when we heard the autism diagnosis of our son. Like you, I knew and had already started to process how the diagnosis was going to enable us to help him. Great video.
I'm glad you got your answers. I have different concerns with my sons and am having trouble getting anywhere with doctors.
It can be rough with doctors and if need be switch doctors if that is possible.
My son is 8 years old with the exact same diagnosis. He was diagnosed with sensory processing disorder at around 2 or 3. Then ADHD and autism at about 5. I am so happy to come across your channel. Maybe we can help each other!!
This is a great video, it's great to hear you got the answers you needed and great to see you sharing your story because I believe that it helps to spread awareness for these conditions.
You said everything VERY well here. Like how diagnosis is important because it allows you to know how you can better help your child grow and develop, etc. You said it all so well.
I'm sorry that Jackson and your family have to have these challenges but it's so obvious that Jackson is extremely intelligent (and I believe most all ppl w autism *are extremely intelligent) and I'm actually very *happy* for you in the sense that you found the right Drs, and are on the road to getting the assistance you need. And you are such a strong mother, he's one lucky little guy, and so are his brothers.
Oh and I almost forgot to send u a message to tell u that I tagged you in my latest Mummy CZcamsr tag. Let me know if you do the tag :)

YES!!!! I will do the TAG for sure.
TheThriftyMommy yaayy!!:) thanks Sandra, can't wait to see it!
haha bathroom vlogs are always the best!
I'm very happy you're finally getting answers. I know something is up with my girl but it seems most of the doctors and teachers say it's the fact that she is bilingual. I finally found one doctor that decided to check her progress so he prescribed an evaluation by a speech therapist (whom totally didn't get the problem) and exercises for kids with Auditory Processing Disorder. So I think he may suspect APD but in the end I'm glad I'm not just wasting time anymore and finally doing something about it. I was so relieved when I wasn't simply dismissed that I was euphoric after the appointment.
In the end I'm happy you're on the right track!
Thank goodness for making headway huh?
I know it is a huge relief to have some answers! I am a mom to a special needs child and another one with a chronic illness ... I didn't pick this ride but it is the ride I am on! Thanks for sharing, sending you some love from #YTMM - Annie
I am so glad you got your answers! You followed your mom feeling and worked hard to makr them listen to you! My question is about food - is he a picky eater? Does he eat the same meals as the rest of the family?
And would you do a video about Trevor's autism and what his struggles are at his age?
Thanks and good job momma! You can now start helping him with the help of insurance.
Great questions. I will compile them into a video because those alone could be an entire video in itself.
answers r key. he's so cute, best of luck 2 him, and u
Thank you. Also yes it is nice knowing for sure what is going on.
Oh and did you went to a developmental pediatrician or some kind of psychologist for the assessment ?
I'm glad you have some answers. I hope you can get the help he needs to be happy, learn and grow ;) best wishes Spreading the #YTMM Love Link
Did you consider homeschooling ? That would remove the need to fit into a mold and become more of an organic process. I am considering it myself for my boys.
i had a question , how did the siezure look like ... my son kinda looks away and shakes his head and i didnt think of it being anything until now .
I have a video of Jaxsons seizures if you use the search option and type in seizure TheThriftyMommy it should pop right up.
+TheThriftyMommy. okay thank you ❤
way to take initiative! we had a lot of trouble when we wated to get her evaluated as well... check out Moms Across America, there is a lot of support n info on tghere, hugs and love from #YTMM
Your insurance should pay you for all the expenses they didn't cover before. They can't say his autism started today. He was born with it, and it's ignorance on their doctor's part that delayed this diagnosis. It's not your fault their doctors are not as knowledgeable and competent. The pediatrician should have diagnosed this early on saving you money and heartache.
Agree with everything you said here 100%
I would love to meet up with you and swap stories sometime. Let me know
Sounds like a good idea
