Not surprising he spent 2 days chasing around scavengers over low quality armour. Just so an unimportant nobody can report to his superior he did his job well.
He's such a well written character. Star Wars live action TV shows could learn from this.

We can only hope, but considering we haven't seen or heard anything of the batch during rebels or afterwards either they're going to retire peacefully hidden or give their lives fighting for the one thing they never truly had, a choice.

Has anyone else noticed that each season Omega spent more time with her brothers over the others? Season 1, Hunter and Wrecker. Season 2, Tech and Echo. Now season 3, Crosshair. I theorized that she’d end up being the ultimate bad batcher as she got older: Learning different traits/skills from each of them. It seems more plausible now.

That what makes her A great characters. Unlike some Sequel female main characters. Omega has what all good characters should have. 3rd season will be certainly a sad experience, not only season can have bad or sad ending, but 3rd season is the last season of the whole series. Animated Series are that made Star Wars shine again, we can have good Series like Mandalorian and all of that, but they will never achive this kind of level. Of course in my opinion.
Next season will buddy Omega and Gonky. Oh wait…

How he does it will continue to amaze me. But also, did you notice that Crosshair sounds a little more reg-like than before? It could just be happenstance, but I think it might be symbolic of Crosshair missing his brothers.

I grew up with The Clone Wars. Now I’m more excited for the final season of The Bad Batch series
The series finale airs the day I graduate high school, it really is the end of my childhood
I started watching the clone wars in middle school now I’m 30 watching bad batch 😂😭
I’m happy for this season, but sad it’s coming to an end. Let’s hope this last season is the best of the best.

I definitely think this Season's gonna end with either Hunter alone with Omega or just Omega by herself. Either way, not a happy ending. Probably sadder than how Clone Wars ended.

After so much time killing for the empire, being frozen, tortured.. he is so SOFT with Omega. He gives her advice in every statement he makes to her. He's teaching her just like his brothers...

Be humble to your own wisdom, knowledge and experience. Don't take things for granted.

If anything is certain, it's that you as a human know nothing. Hence trusting someone or something is a weakness.
"Trusting enough" of course begs the question. What defines "enough". Omega is just a naive written child. It's understandable.

the way he rubs his hand reminds me of hemlock... look at how the emphasis of that shot is entirely on Crosshair's hands.

The emphasis on Crosshair’s hand shaking and they way he holds his hand similar to how Hemlock does is probably from the toxin that was used on Crosshair in season 2 when he warned the batch. Hemlock said he grew an immunity to it-which means that one of the side effects of the toxin is tremors in your hands.

Hemlock is such an underrated villain, developing an immunity to his own toxin is badass. Would like to see him in a project like Andor
That's a very interesting theory! Perhaps this hand shaking thing is temporary, but certainly uncomfortable for Crosshair for some time.

I'm shocked, Crosshair was an excellent sniper and his hands never trembled even in the most intense battles, but now they tremble and he barely hides it. It will be interesting whether this will affect his qualities as a sniper in the future.
After he escapes I imagine the side effects will go down

The Clone Wars, Rebels, The Bad Batch, and Tales of the Jedi are some of the greatest Star Wars I ever watched.

I love how the shadow from the metal bars casts a shadow on Omega's face which almost looks like a crosshair. The same as crosshairs scars around his eye

Dee Bradley Baker should get an award after this. He's played so many parts and brought these guys to life for us.
I grew up on Star Wars the Clone Wars and it's really going to hit hard when this series ends. If they do make more Star Wars series after this they should keep it this animation. It's the best of them all.

Tales of the Jedi was much better. If they would have just made it all about Dooku, I would have preferred that. If they follow that same element with Qui Gon, young Kenobi, Quinlan Vos + Secura, Plo Koon and his wookiee master, Fisto/Shaak Ti/Sora Bulq as a dark jedi, and other prequels to lesser known jedi then it will be so much better.
Jango Fett, Grievous, Ventress, pre TPM Maul, Durge, pre TCW Thrawn also need their stories

I have a feeling that Crosshair still can't take sides. After all, being a soldier is the goal of his whole life, he was born for this, but at the same time he perfectly understands that the empire now needs him not as a fighter, but as a laboratory rat.

I think after Lieutenant Nolan mistreating the close and Cody going AWOL, and the Defence Recruitment Bill being passed, this guy would no longer side with the Empire.
Crosshair is just like Anakin by Episode 6 - over it all. They both realized that the Empire is not what it appears to be and they have been deceived by the same lie as everyone else.
Shame it took anakin like 20 extra years to realize that
@@nokopanda4642 Because Anakin was sunk in an ocean of oppression from Palpatine and hatred and hopelessness, Crosshair was still far more free than Anakin in the mind, he was not mentally crippled when he sided with the Empire. Crosshair had his brothers who woke him up to the reality of the Empire, Anakin had no one in his life, except his Master whom he hated greatly, but couldn't escape the clutches of.
I watched Season 2 not long ago and I’m really excited to see where this goes! I hope this team of animators and writers continue to make great shows in the future!

Crosshair became my 2nd favourite Star Wars character ever. I hope that his ending will be satisfying and not simple.

@@cooljackster7390Grand Admiral Thrawn but mostly Zahn's version. I've already read 2nd Thrawn trilogy and 3rd one is wating on my shelf. Im also waiting for the rerelease of the original one in my country so I could buy it. Filoni's Thrawn is average at best. (In Rebels he was good, in Ahsoka he was terrible but both versions aren't even close to Thrawn from the novels)

I'm already expecting Omega and maybe one other to survive to the end. Most likely Hunter. Although, it could be interesting if we lose Hunter and Wrecker and end up with Crosshair and Omega at the end, living the quiet life somewhere.

I am not sure of what will happen in the end. But considering in Rebels, Rex was alone, and was only left with Wolffe and Gregor, and had no will to fight any longer till he met Kanan and found Tano, it probably means the end of the entire squad.
Oh noooooo, this is gonna be one tear jerker of a sad/happy ending to a great show.

That really would be an interesting idea that it is PTSD, but another commenter also pointed out that what he does with his hands here is similar to what Hemlock does. Hemlock said that he built an immunity to the toxin that was released into the room when Cross tried to warn TBB. It could be that one of the side effects of the toxin is hand tremors, or maybe just tremors in general. Either theory could be possible

Remember the episode called "The Solitary Clone" where Crosshair was heavily emphasized and the ice vulture symbolism that describes Cross to a T, esp after what happened on Barton-4 with Mayday?
I believe the writers have hinted that Cross could very well become the sole survivor of the Batch. I can't stress how ironic and sad that's going to be if that turns out to be the case.
I find it interesting that Dee’s portrayal of Crosshair’s voice sounds a little more like his portrayal of a regular clone. I like to this that Crosshair talks in a colder voice on purpose but his time in prison has withered him down so much to where he’s lost that edge and that more callous exterior he had earlier and is beginning to show more care for Omega

I'm a grown man and I dedicated some time to watch all the animated series of TCW, Rebels, & The Bad Batch, after never giving it a chance as I saw it as a "kid's show" and to a degree, it is, but the insane attention to detail, and everything it perfected, along with the stories, music, by the end of each series, i literally teared up a little. Easily the BEST CANON Starwars stories to this day. outside the liveaction prequels.. Just WOW! If you're reading this and haven't given it a shot for a similiar reason, just trust me bro, it's worth enduring, because by the end of each you will be SO MOVED by each story.
