I love this thing! Humidifier with Diffuser plus top fill. If you could add the oils to the tank that would be more ideal (and easier to clean) - this video shows the oils being added to the tank, yet the instructions seemed to require adding to the base? Wish there is a cleaning video for the base as I'm finding the instructions confusing.

So, there is a video from 11/12/2019 which shows that the essential oil is put at the base, and there is another video from 19/09/2019 which shows that the essential oil is put directly into the water. How is it correct?

I spent some money on devices and essences, so I can tell you from experience during this time. First of all, use these air humidification devices only if you have a medical problem and it was recommended to you by a doctor or a specialist. But if you are one of the many "victims" of advertisements, then you can cause medical problems for yourself and also for objects in the house using such a humidifier. Let's take this humidifier as an example. 1. in the advertisement it says that it is silent = my opinion is that a person must be a little deaf for this device to enter the silent category - I returned 2 devices of this type only because I could not associate them with the word "silent" ". With this device, if you want to use essential oils, you have to put them directly in the water - remove the top cover and pour a few drops, depending on the intensity of the aroma, directly into the amount of water in the tank. Now, from my experience, if you use essences in this device, over time you will notice that the device will "absorb" these essences in its plastic, and you will smell a strange mixture of these essences. The only option is to permanently use the same essence from the same company - because essences of the same type can have slightly different smells from producer to producer, depending on the quality of the raw material used. If you want to enjoy aromatherapy and improve your health, my advice is to give up aromatherapy + humidifiers and buy a cold aroma diffuser - which, in my experience, can improve your quality of life and health.
