- My buddies 2019 Jetta GLI just got an air lift setup. I wanted to show people how it looks and works. loves how it makes the car look and features are awesome. Makes me want to bag my car too. If anyone wants to see more of this car let me know I can make more videos.

I just bought a 2021GLI. Picking it up tomorrow! So excited! I test drove lots of cars, honestly, nothing was a fun and fast as the GLI, specially with all the options that come standard with it, amazing for the price!!
I had an 2014 APR stage 2 GLI 6mt before the Accord. It was a fun car

Those are 19" OEM Golf R Wheels. Tires are Continental Summers 235/35/19. We can definitely do some more videos on his car.
Got a 2019 Gli.. white autobahn. Thats literally all I want to do to the outside of the car.. lower it.. bags.. something. The rear end stock is too high .. your boys car looks clean as f***.
Yeah this car was way too high stock. It was a total game changer for it's appearance. Thanks it does look awesome now.

Where did you buy the Golf R wheels? I’m struggling to find any for my 2019 GLI.
It's my friends car. He got them new used from someone selling them locally. Check craigslist, ebay, or even facebook market place
I have the same car just it’s a base model how much was the kit and did he have any problems installing also where did he order it from
He said it was a pretty straightforward installation. Cost just under $4k with all the odds and ends needed. You start with a base kit ans select upgrades and addons. It can be done cheaper but wont be the same as his. Got it from bagriders.com
This might be a dumb question, but does adding air suspension make the ride any smoother? I love my Mk7 and the ride is good, but it could be better.
Not a dumb question at all. Absolutely that's why they call it riding on air. With this kit you can dial it in to be as firm or soft as you would like it to be. The adjustability is almost endless.
I'm curious the cost both parts/labor time involved to do the set up and if bags hold up in colder climates?
I’ve ran bags on my daily through 4 Canadian winters without any issues at all. Just drain the tanks regularly and run a water trap to prevent any moisture from freezing!

Convinced me that my 2019 GLI will look better with 19 inch wheels. The stock 18s aren’t bad but the 19s definitely give it a more aggressive look. Just worry a little bit about the ride quality on 19s. My autobahn version doesn’t have the adaptive suspension like the 35th Anniversary edition
Do you know if the adaptive suspension makes a huge difference? I've been looking at reviews that mentioned the different drive modes didn't seem to change much. Trying to decide to get a 2019 autobahn or go for a 2020-2021 autobahn with the DCC
@@jbmcge I have a 35th can confirm sport mode stiffening the car really changes the feel

It hasn't had any issues. Pretty solid set-up
