Road book reader App test with Mr P on the KTM 890Adventure r

A test event of the road book reader navigation app, organised by Mr P. This event took place from a very busy Walkers Cafe Mildenhall. It was well organised with a group of six riders leaving at ten minute intervals. I had a few minor issues initially with my smart phone holders plastic screen. It’s quite sensitive to the gloves touch and I had tapped it a little too hard. It wouldn’t scroll up because I had created a copy and paste box. After realising this it was no problem and I got used to using the screen and occasionally having to bring the mileage down a little to match the junction exactly. I got a little complacent towards the end and I turned off the road earlier than necessary because I was 1.5 k out. I soon realised this using the compass bearing in the small box on the right. Overall a fun spin around on the ktm. Lovely day and good to meet new people and try new things out. I’ll probably try more road book events in the future for a challenge.
