Interesting. Thanks, but it seems Peugeot no longer support older cars' systems, as far as I can tell. I went round in circles in their website, inputted my VIN multiple times and was told "free upgrade expired". This afte I bought a second-hand P 5008, 2016 model, and its info screen keeps saying there is an update available. I wasted an hour and a half on the Peugeot website, downloaded their app on my phone, all to no avail. Everything starts with the new 5008 SUV model in 2017. My bad luck...

Hi! Not sure if you can help me out. So I did all of this exactly the same but you when yours came up saying initializing such and such that didn't happen for me. Also you see Driving / Navigation / Apps all i see is system config and screen config :/ any ideas? I guess I could try update again see if it will work....
hi mate. sorry for the late answer. have you manager to find a way to get it sorter? I would indeed recommend you to try again.
Please make sure you contact Peugeot Assistance Customer service dept. and ask them for a link to download the installer/update firmware to make sure is from a trustworty source and also for the right model.

@@SEPAChannel I have fixed it... simple fix! I plugged in my phone charger(wireless handheld thing) into the port where you do the update thinking that would be fine. Apparently it is not fine haha so all fixed just plugged my normal charger into the port instead and all is good :)

Hi mate. what do you mean by not carplay? can you upload a photo or something and explain the issue a bit more?
Carplay should start when you plug in the phone via an USB Cable. to be noted, models under 2021 does not have wireless android auto.
I am still pissed off cuz I can not use CZcams (the video app) since some stuff like podcastss or whatever are not available on YT Music. I will make a video about that in the next couple of days
I own a Peugeot 2008 year (2013) and I don't have a GPS or mirrolink is there an update to do in order to get all its thanks.

Appreciate if you can upload the files to a new public link since in the country I live in, Peugeot service center asked me to check outside for the update via accessories shop or online. Would be of great help if you can do that!

Hi there mate. I might find them somewhere however I would advise on contacting Peugeot via Peugeot App, making sure you will get the last firmware updatr

Around 15 minutes mate, it might take longer, however u need to make sure u will let it fully update otherwise u may end up in crashing the soft
overall it takes about 30 minutes with download and everything.

Hi there my friend. I honestly do not know, however there is a chance they are using the same equipment anyway so it should de also. Contact Peugeot Customer Service via the App and find out mate. lf you can update on the answer you got from PSA will be amazing.

Hi Stevo, most probably it can. If you have a Peugeot App feel free to contact the customer service representatives through the app and they will let you know if updates are available and also will send you a step by step process on how to update it. Take care, stay safe!

Hi , Peugeot not updating the software. Apparently can be down by a 3rd party App.

It was free as I have done the job myself. Got the files from Peugeot by contacting them via App / email and then updated it.

@@brigoose7945 Check this link and follow the steps one at a time. you'll have to download the Peugeot App at some point and contact Peugeot from there, however I can tell you that is the way I did it and most people I spoke with. Let me know if any questions mate.
