To some extend this is a original HOTOL idea for the real Shuttle. They wanted to have something with fuel and large wings to put shuttle in orbit, while having tiny wings for the return. Only it is not a HOTOL and launch vertically xD
Really nice idea! Why did you use Raptors on the spaceplane though, if you mainly use them in closed cycle mode? You could use something like an aerospike that's more efficient in vacuum but still works in atmosphere.

if you afjuste your orbital inclination on kerbin, you won't need to do an inclination change on mun for a polar orbit
One thing that I have learned with KSP, never say impossible or no way xD
