Smart has been my addiction since day 1. The song, choreo and the outfits every time. Yunjin really cowrote such a good song.
What I like about their songs is that whether it'd be a title track or bside they all fuqin slap. The Eve Psyche song last year felt like a diff comeback from Unforgiven

Best girl group currently. I didn't say best singers or songs, just the best group led by the most complete idol, right now in 2024. I do appreciate the other fandoms pushing back on this but I just don't see a better one if you consider all facets.

Did they say something when they did reggaeton? because Antifragile IS reggaeton, everyone was very quiet, I don't understand 🙄. Mi gente latino were perreando no bad vibes here
People were not quiet but it was easy to defend Antifragile because 2 latinas(Paulina Cerrilla and Isabella Lovestory) were listed as songwriters. This time time around they hired a bunch of Europeans to help them analyze and replicate Amapiano instead of just working with a South African songwriter.
@@PichpoGUA I didn't see any of those comments, in fact, Many of the comments I saw were like "Mi gente Latino" or "Las serafinas", super Latin American or Caribbean comments, I would say, I didn't know that there were Latin people involved until quite a while later and to be honest this song sounds a lot like reggaeton, I swear there are at least two reggaeton singers with a vibe very similar to this one. I saw a lot of people say Lesserafin released a song with Latin vibes and I think is because we have a lot of reggaeton songs that sound very similar.
That means that those singers, who are many by the way, are replicating that sound without being South African? is a similar case to how a lot of Latin people have no problem with Rosalia winning a Latin Grammy for best urban music album, (because she makes Latin urban music aka reggaeton) but we do have a problem when she wins an award for being the BEST LATIN ARTIST when she is European. I don't know if you can understand this reference and I hope my comment doesn't sound hateful, my English is not the best 😅
@@PichpoGUA That's not how the process works though, they buy the songs from publishers already partially made (they translate and do their own arrangements). The producers are 13, the normal Korean Source Music production team that has done most of Le Sserafim and Gfriend's music. The European writer and composer credits you're seeing are from the Swedish publisher they got the song from (and a lot of Kpop and other pop artists go to these same Northern European publishers for some reason), it's not like Le Sserafim collabed with them on the song. It's also worth noting the company never said anything about the genre or the influences, that was yall that said those things. Anyway, while it's nice when companies work with outside songwriters for authenticity, I don't know anyone other than the chronically online who think it's literally required.
In fact, Tyla's Water is listed in Genius as having two Europeans in the lyricist and composition credits (for probably the same reason) and the main writers seem to be an African American, an Afro British, and a Ghanian. No South Africans aside from her, who is listed last. Doja Cat's Woman has ALL American and British writers in the credits, most of them white. Both songs very clearly purchased from London-based British publishers, not written by South Africans.
