- In this special episode of Road Book follow Sebastien Loeb on his first official test day with M-Sport in the Ford Puma Hybrid Rally1 car. The test took place two days after Rally Spain, the penultimate round of the 2021 FIA World Rally Championship. Loeb is set to return to the WRC in 2022 with M-Sport on the season opening Rallye-Monte Carlo in a historic return seeing him join forces with M-Sport after spending over a decade competing against the Cumbrian based WRC squad.

I was once at val Thorens and did the ice driving there with an EVO wrc car, it cost me 500⏠as a 19 year old it was the best experience I had. Appearenyly I missed Loeb with one day, even went to the same restaurant we went too who said the same thing, bummer! He was a legend for me growing up

Great to see the King driving for M-Sport, I am interested in what other rallies he will do after Monte Carlo, I hope he will return to Ireland, maybe return to Donegal to prepare for Rally Northern Ireland. I believe that he could win a rally next year and achieve the magic 80 in wins.

Proper motorsport. The sounds, the people, what's not to like. One of, if not the best rally driver ever, nice to see he is not too fashion conscious, unlike a certain F1 driver.....
Loebs English has come on brilliantly and now fluent. I remember his early days in WRC where it was obvious he hated tv interviews as it often meant speaking English which he stuttered through with lots of nervous "uhmms" "errs" and "ahhs". Of course it didn't matter much as once he was in the car everyone was watching incredible poetry in motion!
I think we can all agree that Loeb is the best driver that has ever walked this earth.

For Craig an absolutely brilliant apprenticeship. What an icon and absolute legend to have as your teacher. Ford milking the publicity as usual hope the results will be just as spectacular. Personally I doubt it. If only Ford had signed him up fifteen years ago. Toyota and Hyundai will be too strong again imo. Be great to see Seb back in the Monte though.. A great bench mark for the others.

None of the WRC cars have anything to do with the street model, just looks. The new Puma hasn't worse silhouette than a C3 or Mini anyway.... But I get your point, some cars became strange.... Puma is mini SUV instead of small coupe, electric SUV has "Mustang" in the name.... New times I guess....
WRC uses hybrid to be more economic firendly. Loeb flies in and out with a helicopter lol...
Well, Loeb isn't writing the rules, he can land on a SpaceX rocket if he wants. FIA bosses better be moving around on bicycles though.
There is no Loeb arriving in a helicopter .... thats a big no no for me ;-)
