I totally agree with you .. true friends are those who can support you in difficult times and never goes against you .. *friend in need is a friend indeed* but my dear friend FBI berlin is trying to say that the prior intention of friends is supporting friends , stand with them no matter what condition is .. but if friends finds his /her near or dear ones or family in danger or HIMSELF then friend will betray you thats what is he saying ..
Afteall friends is human .. if anyone finds self threat then he will obviously protect himself (except parents they never go against children )
In todays modern world where human is becoming more selfish you cant trust them anymore . might berlin is making us awake of that fact ,, trust only few and ready to fight against them .. Today human can do anything for what he wants be it money or some luxury car etc

After living in UK I've changed idea...
Andres truly loved his brother, Sergio also loved him with all his being. Imagine what his death was like to professor. He heard his last words ,heard his execution. Still had to be brave and run because he had promised Berlin he would do so. The way Berlin hugs him, kisses him teases him I just want to go into the screen and hug these two actors. What brilliant performers . Pedro Alonso and Àlvaro Morte are just excellent actors. Hope they show Nairobi's flashbacks as well. And more Berlin in part 5. He keeps the show this attractive.
This scene makes so much sense, how Tatiana ‘’betrayed” Berlin not because she didnt love him but because of the dilemma she had. Same with Berlins son. So powerful, and majestic how it all comes together. This truly is one of the best series ever written. A masterpiece.

Jo, es increíble la pena que dan estos flashbacks. Fueron TAN felices durante una época, o durante algunos momentos. Hasta esa escena, sólo conocíamos un lado bastante tosco y serio de Palermo, Bogotá y Marsella, y aquí bailando y riendo como chavales. El Profesor sonríe más en este flashback que en las dos primeras temporadas. Y Berlín siempre es oro puro, qué gran personaje y qué gran actor. La escena donde mira con una cara absolutamente creíble de felicidad a sus amigos bailar con su esposa, sabiendo que ya no le quedan muchos momentos así...

The only reason i watch it anymore is cuz of berlin they made a huge mistake killing him off and regret it they have no idea how to bring him back which is why they keep giving us flashbacks honestly one of the most complete sophisticated yet likeable characters
They have no idea how to bring him back ? Berlin dying is actually good writing and we are watching his flashbacks so we know what happened before the events of the first heist .

La casa de papel was filmed in 2017 and was a national tv series. There was never a plan for new seasons. But, after having a huge success on Netflix, netflix decided to ask the producers to make new seasons. That is why Berlin dies, no one knew that the series will be filmed again
