You have identified the one item I really want that I haven’t seen anyone else that I watch find. Crossing my fingers, I don’t use credit cards so I’m hoping it’s available when I can shop. Thanks for the fun ideas.
They are also not plus sized friendly. Two of my closest stores eliminated their Encore departments in the last couple of years.
They tend to have more items online. They've pared down store selections in recent years. But that's because most people shop online and not in-store. Boy, have things changed in the past few years.
Thanks for sharing some ideas for the Nordstrom sale. The Travis Matthews quilted jacket is not available. Like you, I was also hoping to get all three pieces for an upscale, but comfortable look. I may still purchase the joggers and sweatshirt if they are still available in my size.

Beth, I love fashion and especially accessories. MY MOM always said you can put on a plain black dress and then add the right accessories you would look like you paid a lot for that plain black dress. I shops in Nordstoms and Macy's for years, but they took out their plus sizes. I always paid off my cards, too, so I just closed out my Nordstoms account, but I still shop online for Macys. Love your CZcams channel...
My mother and grandmother said the same thing! “A modestly-priced item in black will almost always look better than a pricy item in any other colour.” In a similar vein: “If even ONE item of your outfit-shoes, bag, jewellery, accessories, sweater, or whatever-is of indisputable quality (read $$$), then people will assume that everything else is too.”.

I checked the Nordstrom online store, they do have a plus size section, I don't know what sizes are actually consider plus size. Not sure if a Large is a considered a plus size or a size 16 is considered a plus size, most items stopped at size large or size 18 but there were some other sizes too. Just letting viewers know Nordstrom offers plus sizes. I noticed some of the items are reasonably priced too! Loved how every woman should have a pair of red shoes. My sons tell me different when I bought mine, the shoes are very classy too! They said I was too old for bright colors like red. So I bought an orange and yellow shirt to brighten my wardrobe even more! :) Thanks for sharing the video! I'm already looking at new fall fashion, although summer can stay for as long as it wants :)

If you have a Nordstrom Card you can start shopping July 11th in stores and on line. The advantage of online shopping is you can start at 12:01 instead of waiting for the doors to open at 10am

Excellent video. I do have a couple of questions. What are Nordy Notes? Also, does Nordy Club membership need a Nordstrom credit card. I tried to look it up online but could not find anything specific to answer these questions.
If you have a Nordstrom card you earn points for each dollar you spend. Nordstrom converts that into Nordy Notes that act like cash when you shop.
I’m so disappointed. I went onto their website at 9:00 pm my time PST and all the adidas I had on my wish list were sold out. I had a Nike pr of wide leg trousers/sweats too, gone. I was able to get the Nike pants in black, but I have so many black pants 😢

Be careful; in comparing prices, Nordstrom raises their prices $10.00 each item I have seen which pays for your return.
Not wide shoe friendly either
I’ve mostly regretted the items I bought at these Nordstrom Anniversary Sales, and have edited them put of my wardrobe. Most of the sale items are inferior-quality merchandise made especially for the sale. A “cashmere” item might have nylon and polyester blended in, for example, to reduce the manufacturer’s costs, and raise the profit. But, I can’t wear synthetic fibers at all, and this sale doesn’t offer premium items, like silk and genuine leather clothing and high-quality accessories. There are a lot of great styles, as in some of the knit dresses, but I just can’t tolerate the acrylic, polyester, nylon, etc. they’re made of. This is my biggest wardrobe challenge and it forces me to buy from only the Premium High Street price level and up. At least for anything that touches my skin directly. Even with a wool/10% nylon blend, I have to wear a silk scarf to prevent the nylon from touching my neck skin. These plastics are causing more and more allergic reactions in people, like me, because they develop with repeated exposure to them over the decades, it began with me around age 40 or so. It’s from the proliferation of plastics in our environment, especially in apparel. There is one coat and one belt I am considering, but that’s it.

Personal opinion.. while I do love all that you offer,, please dont encourage people to RUN and apply for a credit card just to be able to shop early from the sale..
I also shared all the benefits the Nordstrom card offers.
