@ValindaFiddle so it's four years since you made these comments and seven years since they posted this video. Mandolin Orange is touring the country and headlining. You were absolutely right about their sound. I think these two found what works for them seven years back, and I'm glad they went their way and not the one you recommended. I think they'd have just been another "Old Crow" in a crowded field of wannabes. IMHO
i say poo on the comment below and more band members. more sound doesn't mean better and now days it's worse. no more over production. people want to hear the instruments and know real people are playing them.
Get two other band members and youll probably get rich...stand-up bass, guitar...let the girl play the fiddle....or let the girl play guitar and get a fiddler. I know you have an agent probably but artistic choices are ultimately yours...you have one of the best potential sounds on CZcams...no kidding...but the successful sound for this music is a band....and all the headaches that go with it
