Dont need to unplug anything. Just pull the wires off. Theyre accessible

@Omar. That is the secondary air injection pump. It injects fresh air into the exhaust system to reduce emissions.

    A few questions:
We followed the instructions and it worked great. The car started up right away. It has a lot more power and sounds great.
I ended up loosening the air intake manifold to get to the wires and third plug easier. While I was tightening the rear left bolt on the back of the air intake manifold I didn't realize that the bolt has a slight offset even when it is all the way tight. I ended up breaking the aluminum threaded hole. So...
    1. Is this a safety issue or is this just an extra bolt?
    2. Can you do a video where you replace the air intake manifold?
And now I am worried I overtightened the plugs. I used a ratchet to tighten the spark plugs as tight as I could get them with a single hand.
    3. Is it easy to overtighten/dangerous them?

Wow, this is ridiculously complicated compared to my old car. (A Dodge Stratus)

Hi great video! I have a question if my car hesitates during acceleration, like you can feel it jumping and pulling back does that mean it's time to change the spark plugs?

Pichael Thompson I’ve never seen a plastic one. Maybe it’s aftermarket?

I think the plastic is just the cover but can easily be removed and it'll look like this

@@talonyoung5397 no it's not. I removed the whole intake. It was all plastic

The location of my ignition coils on my 2003 VW jetta 2.0 seem to be different than this.

ryzal graseqa that's hard to say. Could be several things. Go to AutoZone or O'reillys and see if there are any codes in it. That may give you a clue.

Lol wow you shouldn’t record this, I really had high expectations for you as I thought watching 5 minutes of extra unplugging you must be a “go by the book” mechanic.. and then comes the ugliest Chinese pliers I ever did see instead of the correct $10 tool to take the boots off lol
