Dwight Yoakam has always reminded me of a guy I could have grew up down the street from. He seems much more down to earth than many other great singers and actors. I grew up a couple hours south of where he did in Middletown, Ohio....

I had the pleasure of meeting Dwight one day we were at the airport in San Antonio awaiting my father in law flight from La and the first person to come out was dwight didn't notice him until my wife told me then my father in law came out and we headed to the luggage section and there he was again we went and I welcomed him to our city shook hands and man he gave me a strong hand shake I'll never forget he is a very humble person he looks skinny but no he is not he is a very rugged singer one of my favorites God bless him.
