This is great! I once dated a guy who was adopted and he had no desire to look for his birth family! His adoptive family were amazing and well off. I’m so happy for her!
Just for health and genetics it's a good to know your bio family history it could save save lives.
I would hate to end up dating or married to a sibling or cousin
My ex said he wasn't interested in finding his birth mother either. But, when I told him his adoptive parents had asked me if I thought he would want the information they had (that he didn't know about) about his birth mother or they were going to burn it.. I said he wasn't interested. All of a sudden he was interested in it so they kept it and gave it to him. He never followed up with it. I think he was just afraid he be "abandoned" again. His abandonment issues affected him his whole life.

@@kjlockley1246 I remember a long time ago about a couple who were both adopted. They had several children (4 I think) before discovering they were actually siblings. If I remember correctly, their children were healthy. I don't know how the situation was resolved.

I'm so happy for her. I can relate. I never knew anything about my dad's family. He wasn't in my life. I took a DNA Ancestry test and found a boat load of relatives. They didn't know my dad had any children.
I have a similar story with my dad’s dad except no DNA test. My dad and his mom were always evasive when I asked about my grandfather growing up. They weren’t married and he was quite a bit older, had been in the military. She was in high school and my grandmother said he took advantage of her naïveté. I knew my grandfather and his parents names. I found an address online for my great grandparents from property records. Since they were all deceased I didn’t know if anyone from the family still lived there. I drove to town and knocked on the door. The family still owns the home and they welcomed me in. The rest is history. I found out my grandfather didn’t die until I was in college but never reached out to his only granddaughter. One of my dad’s first cousins said her dad who was my grandfather’s brother also neglected his kids.
Please bring her back so we can know how it went. So glad she found her family. God has placed so many angels in her path to help her through this journey called life. Continued blessings to everyone.
Who else just wanted to adopt great uncle though? I hope the parents are not being to hard on themselves. No one in this world is perfect or have it all together. So glad she was able to united with her blood relatives b/c some may know that not everyone wants to even be around theirs so its so nice when you can come together in a joyous harmonious manner. I understand Uncle Butch being shocked this could happen in his family. When you come from a big loving and forgiving family you are shocked they woukdnt come to you to help them with their problem.

I’m so, so happy for her! I am a person who would love to adopt, but I don’t want the hurt of someone feeling empty and me not being enough. Some people can handle, it, I probably wouldn’t.

👏 Praise God!! What a wonderful outcome. I cried for joy and laughed a little. My 2 children & several great nieces and nephews also hv an Uncle Butch whom we love dearly. ❤️ The funny part is when my daughter was little, he used to work at a home oil delivery man. When he visited us in his truck, my daughter was so excited and shouted to him, "Uncle Bush, Uncle Bush!"😆🥰

Beautiful story but I wanted to know more. Like if the dad was still living, why did mom leave her on the doorstop if it was even her mom who did it, did the dad know, were they young when they got pregnant, was it a relationship or was the mom attacked, etc, etc...

I call , email, texted your show with no answer never , heard from your show . My sister was missing from us 63 years . Just got her in our live 2022 May 5 thank God .Thru a young woman that helped us . With in 4 to 5, I was talking with my sister. She has now change your last name back to her original name .
