I've never heard of Paramore until maybe a week ago when I listened to this song by them. YES, THEY NAILED IT. Loved the 'studio' video too. Been listening to Talking Head's since the release of 77. Also like the cover by Cardigan's & Tom Jones.

Personally, my requirements for a good cover are a mix of remaining faithful to the source material, and making it their own song I'd actually say is *secondary* to that. Given those 2 criteria, this is indeed an amazing cover- and it did sound like a whole *blast* to record. G-Wizzle, I'll be honest, and tell you that I did listen as soon as you said they'd covered the song. But I went back to the original first, bc like you, I was pretty familiar with the band (legendary), as well as the song (also legendary) but I just wanted a 'refresher course' lol. Glad I did it that way 🥰. Lastly- how cool must HW and The Boys felt when they were authorized to cover????? *That's* the story I wanna hear 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰.
