...When they rebooted the show in 2020, everyone started hating it (with some Brits even preferring Steve Harvey more than the 2020 reboot)
*from a US citizen who enjoys both Family Fortunes (the 1980-2002 one at least) and Family Feud (Mostly the Harvey era but I sometimes would go back to the 2000s to watch Richard Karn, who I grew up with when I was a kid, and to see John O'Hurley, who I remember the most, and occasionally the great and legendary Dawson era.*
