Erik G. was too cruise ship. You can tell that Lzzy was raised on it. This could be the ticket to stadium shows again.
She sounds amazing singing these songs. I recently saw Bach, and he also sou dedicated good. I saw them with Bach on their first tour and also took him skiing in Red Lodge, Montana. Just happened to be by their hotel, and they asked me if I could drive him and his bodyguard to the slopes for the day. I got backstage passes and got to meet the rest of the band and get autographs from them and Aerosmith, who they were opening for. Now I wanna see them with Lzzy
Lzzy is one of the best front women and singers out there and also one of the nicest and most down-to-earth people I've ever spent time with. I hope they can make the logistics work and keep this going. It's a hell of a team up.
I don't know whose idea it was to bring Lzzy into the band but they deserve a raise! Unreal good. She has the swagger of Bach. And incredible vocals. Erik was great but didnt have the stage presence of Lzzy.
Lizzy Hale is an absolute natural for this. I never liked any of their singers after Bas. But i dig this! I think Skid Row just got a new lease on life
seeing snake and rachel smiling, and truly energized is fun. its been a long road since 1996 of different singers, and disappointments. its great to see the having fun here. we all know lzzy won't be there but these four gigs, however they are going to have to figure out the singer situation, and i am sure that is pretty stressful.
She's crushing it. I just heard her tell Eddie Trunk that she'd be up for doing it on a regular basis. They'd be absolutely CRAZY not to offer her the job. They'd just have to work out schedules between Halestorm and Skid Row. If she wants the Skid Row job, they should do anything to make it possible. It'll make them relevant again, which they haven't been in a looooong time, regardless of how good the music they release is.
Lzzy doesn't need to tow Skid Row into the future, She is bigger than they are and it would be silly to do this for more than just periodic fun, lol. I would prefer she stay with her own gig....Unless they write an album together of course.
I hope there's serious discussions behind the scenes that wind up with Lzzy pulling a Myles Kennedy and being the permanent lead singer in two bands going forward. Every clip I've seen of these performances, she absolutely kills it, and does way better than the former guy still hanging on to SR's coattails after almost 30 years out of the band because nobody wants to hear his solo stuff.

She's awesome. She and Doro Pesch are the only female vocalists that are real metal singers (that I'm aware of). I'm sure the irony of this particular song is not lost on her or the band though. Must be a little weird as a woman to be singing about another woman's big guns.
