I think the combo of Tim telling Sean to just cruise to a victory and be safe in the last round, then Sean going out and just fighting him like he needed to win the round to win the fight, won alot of people over. Even some of the haters still respect toughness and manliness, and going out there and not taking it safe and avoiding a fight when you have it in the bag def changed some people's opinions of you.
Never change your style when it's working for you. If Sean took his foot off the gas pedal, Chito might(0.1% chance) have been able to capitalize on it. Sometimes it's best to keep pushing the pace and make them fight your fight!

Man, Ive been in this game since the early 2001 when I first walked into Yves Edwards gym. I have trained with golden glove boxers, world champion wrestlers, and UFC champs..Suga in my honest opinion has the greatest timing, vision, and feint game of not just now but of all time. If you slow down his fights watch the details, it's a fucking work of art and I do not say that lightly. He has been improving tremendously but some that magic is God given and shit you can't teach. People talked so much shit to me at the gym when I was saying this a few years ago and now they are finally quiet. Congrats Champ!

Been saying for years that Sean has the best striking in the game. The understanding of distance and strike selection have always been on point. And all of it setup with his beautiful footwork, stance switches and feints setting his opponents up for failure. Truly is a beautiful thing to watch. I've been watching UFC for about 20 years and I haven't seen a better striker.

Sean just might be the best striker in the UFC right now, his accuracy and distance control is unreal, with his ability to put together combos and keep his opponents guessing so bad, they REALLY seem to be just unsure of what is coming, and he seemingly improves a huge amount with every appearance. 🤷🏻♂️

When omalley said "well sometimes the best defense is offense" talking about the 5th round, it really showed how far he's come and the championship mindset he has now. That was absolutely the best thing he could've done in the 5th, if you got the gas to do it it was way better to just pelt chito with shots instead of letting chito put desperate combos together and just hope your defense is on point well enough to block every single one. Way safer to do lime onalley did and just never even let chito get any rhythm at all.
