- Unbox Karnataka brings you to an authentic Rajasthani Dhaba called Devnarayan Veg Dhaba, which is on Tumkur Road on the outskirts of Bengaluru. This dhaba has a lot of mouth-watering vegetarian dishes to offer. The rotis are made in the clay oven, which comes out crispy and hot! While serving, the rotis and phulkas are smothered in ghee, which is to be devoured with the rich gravies. We tried the Bajra roti and phulkas with the following gravies: Sev Tamatar, Bhindi Masala, Daal, Sev Doodh, Raita, and Kadi. All the gravies were delicious and flavorsome! If one wants to enjoy typical Rajasthani cuisine out of all the dhaba-style food available, then they should definitely pay a visit to this restaurant.

Rajasthani food is very tasty food. Most of the curries are dry curries. Garlic red chutney is must try.
In Namma Bengaluru, there was a chain of restaurant by name - kesariya - which served authentic Rajasthani food. There was one outlet near JP Nagar Outer Ring road. Very tasty food!!

@Unbox Karnataka finally we were able to see your friend Bharat who has helped you to explore so many veg places really enjoyed the way he has explored this dhaba on highway...Best place to go after a long drive looked really authentic especially Sev kadi chana dal with chutney really healthy but you should have had some rice with kadi also the atmosphere was really authentic dhaba type only thing missing in their menu is dal baati churma...Must visit place for authentic veg lovers

Very nice try guys. Around Dobbespete lot of dhabas are there and majority are vegetarian. Yummy food is available but you should not look at the ambience.

I had been today to this place,its not hygeine, taste was ok as there was no salt nor spicy.lassi is good. It's not for family people as there is no hygeine.i say this with full confidence as i had been to Jaipur-udaypur highway u pick any road side dhaba it's tastes good,Narayan dhaba is not as good as typical dhaba.
Because here vegetables and fruits have no taste ...in North india if you take simple any vegetable and saute it in salt and turmeric it will give awesome taste ..the vegetables grown in Karnataka have no taste they taste like rubber ...bland ...
We South Indians also feel the same... We wonder how North Indians eat such bland things... We will be waiting when we would return to our homeland n taste our Nati foods...
